NOBS (No Bad Stuff) Expanding Dental Floss - Nigella Sativa, Eucalyptus, Cruelty-Free, Sustainable Packaging

I can’t remember the last time I rushed to give a review like this. This stuff is amazing! I have really sensitive teeth and gums so normal floss feels like piano wire. This floss is very gentle and thorough at the same time. At first, I was concerned that it might be too thick to fit between my teeth since they are tightly packed together, but that wasn’t an issue. My next concern was that maybe it would rip or get stuck, but everything went beautifully. This is my new favorite floss, without a doubt.

This is the best floss I have ever tried, and I'm an avid flosser. I have forced it upon my friends, family and acquaintances because I don't want them to live without it, I don't care how crazy that makes me look. At risk of being gross, you can see it scrubbing plaque off your teeth as you go. I've flossed with the Silk product after brushing and using a more common waxed floss and it was still doing heavy work cleaning my teeth without damaging my gums. My teeth have never felt so smooth and my mouth feels fresh without any burning mouthwash or peppermint turned up too loud. Key points, I guess: - I found it while looking for a product without PFAS but it works so well that mitigating my risk of dementia is just a bonus. - It works amazingly with the caveat that it will sometimes shred. I keep a stiff dental threader around for those moments and it's fine, but someone with braces or elaborate dental work might have more trouble. - I think the black and orange colors are really fun, I hope they never change them. - The flavor or scent is very mild, I can't say I have ever noticed it until looking at the item's description right now.

These are really good if you are a serious flosser. There is a reasonable thickness to it. I used the Listerine Floss and they decided to discontinue the Listerine Floss. So finally there is this awesome Silk floss. And the glass container is much nicer than using a plastic container. Plus you can order refills which is nice. Just be sure to keep the floss well pass the top part of jar when you getting low or it will just fall into the jar. That way you don’t have to constantly open the jar to fish the end of floss from inside the jar. Not a big deal though.

I purchased the Silk Expanding Dental Floss with the expectation of receiving a product made from natural silk, as the name suggests. However, upon inspecting the packaging and product details, I discovered that the floss is actually made from recycled polyester, a synthetic material derived from plastic. This is a significant deviation from what the product name implies. Key Issues: Misleading Branding: The term "silk" in the product name led me to believe I was purchasing a natural silk floss. The actual material is recycled polyester, which is not disclosed prominently on the packaging or in the product. Material Transparency: Consumers seeking eco-friendly and biodegradable products may find this lack of transparency concerning. Recycled polyester, while repurposed, is still a plastic-based material and does not offer the same biodegradability as natural silk. Product Performance: Beyond the material concerns, I found the floss to be thick and prone to shredding during use, which made the flossing experience uncomfortable and less effective Final Thoughts: I believe it's essential for companies to provide clear and accurate information about their products, especially when catering to environmentally conscious consumers. The use of "Silk" in the product name without a clear indication of the actual material used can be misleading. I hope the manufacturer considers revising the product labeling to reflect its true composition.

This is SO much better than waxed plastic string (it's like it's softer, yet more efficient). I'll never use another brand again.

I have been using this for 1 year and will never stop using it. Tried regular toothpaste a few times in between and it’s no comparison. NOBS for the win on health feeling teeth

I'm used to flossing daily, but for years my gums would still bleed every time I went to the dentist. A year ago, I had a different hygienist who recommended expanding floss. She said the glide floss I was using was probably causing microabrasions, hence the easy bleeding. So I switched, and by my next cleaning, the bleeding had completely stopped. This has become my favorite floss. I have teeth that are tight, and this easily gets between and pulls out all of the gunk. I like that it's biodegradable and there is no plastic waste or microplastics being ingested when using this floss. I like their nobs toothpaste too. My biggest gripe is that the company doesn't sell refills on Amazon and shipping on their site is $7 (I don't know if there's a minimum purchase for free shipping, it might be $50 but it still shows a shipping fee) Also, 1 refill is $8 so with the price of shipping, I'm paying more for a refill than a new one here for $10... unless I buy 4(?) or more refills at a time. I will 100% lose the extra refills, so that's a no-go for me. Please sell refills of your floss and nobs on Amazon, thanks!
