My SIL assembled this quickly and easily (a big concern to granny here). Very sturdy. As described. My grandson has not stopped biking during daylight hours since he got this. Great boon to kids who love the be outdoors playing with their friends. Highly recommend. Arrived quickly and was well packed. A++++

Was a little hard to assemble but I don’t build bikes so it’s probably easier for some people. My daughter is 11 and 5’1 and this bike fits her perfect. It’s beautiful and the purple is so pretty. It rides pretty good but we did order different breaks because they weren’t that great and she is practicing wheelies so it’s important for her to have good breaks. I think it’s a really good price and comparable to walmart. I would say safety wise the breaks could be a little bit better. The picture with my review is me on it and I’m 6’2

This bike isn't terribly expensive so we didn't expect it to be top of the line with the highest quality but even still, for a nearly $200 bike, the brakes are terrible. They barely slow the bike down and the pads wear away very quickly. And the rims seem to become wobbly quick as well. We've bought two of these bikes for my 12-year-old son. Like I said, it's not like it's $1,000 bike, we get it. But for 200 bucks, you would think at least the brakes would be decent or they could have at least added front brakes too. Which is what we did. We added a front brake and it stops a lot better. But my son really likes the bike all around. It's a good looking bike and good enough for him to be a kid with. Definitely good for the price but just be careful if your kid is big like mine. We bought the 24-in tire version by the way

I saw one review that this happened to someone else and I said I hope it doesn’t happen to me but it did. Missing seat piece . Put it all together and can’t get seat on, what a let down for an excited child who eagerly awaited it to come. So we then found an old bike and were able to use that seat and clamp, my son used the bike for all of 15 mins and the brakes gave out on him and the back wheel stopped. He brought the bike to our porch smelling of burning rubber. Will never buy a joystar bike, poorly made didn’t even last one day!

Very good teen bike, came mostly assembled. Front wheel and few items to assemble, which is easy with tools provided. All items came in good condition. Bike size is big enough for teens. Happy with purchase.

This is a great bike! We got this for my 10 year old for Christmas and it’s been such a hit with him. It looks really cool and the contrast between the shiny black and the bright matte brown is super visually appealing. It’s really sturdy while also being light enough to lift in and out of the back of vehicles easily. The assembly was quick, the only issue we’ve ever had is that we wish the brake worked a bit better- it takes a minute to stop the bike. Overall we still give this 5 stars as it’s better than any bike we’ve bought previously.

Bike is nice, easy to put together, looks good and pretty sturdy. But and this is a big but - the brakes are useless. We went down a 4% incline with my son holding the brakes and the bike kept moving. We purchased a set of brakes for the front of the bike and it helped significantly. Unfortunately the back brakes can’t easily be replaced because of their design.
