I was hesitant to buy this product at first but I figure why not try it. At times I have a hard time opening up some jars as I’m getting older. My hands are not as strong as they use to be. The only thing I have is a bottle opener that is made out of rubber so that you can get a good grip on the jar, it just wasn’t good enough. I will absolutely say this jar opener is so easy to use. I am so glad that I bought this product. This works really well. Place on top of jar, hold in place, once it grips you can let go and watch it open the jar. I’ve used it in a medium size jar so far. This will not open soda or water bottles. There is actually one out there for that. The brand maybe different. For people that problems opening jars I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this for my mom bc she’s getting older and still lives a very independent life. But she is not the do-all super woman she once was when I was young. She was using a crescent wrench to open bottles. But she needed both hands and her arthritis won’t always allow this. It was easy enuf to show her how to use it. I just set it on top and hold down the button for about 5 seconds, then leave it on the counter. It does take a little while to open the jars but that’s a good trade off compared to not being able to open it at all or struggling with different things, trying to pry it open, or just avoiding the pain in her hands afterwards. So far it’s opened small water bottles…up to big Costco-sized Pickle jars. Hasn’t failed on any of the different shapes or sizes yet.

Love that it opens the jar so nicely. It needs to be level to work properly. Also the motor runs when it is doing nothing.

I purchased this to make it easier for my mother to open a jar when no-one is there to help. She said it is a great help and can open any jar she need with. If you have a need or know someone who could use an assist with opening a jar this is the gift to give THEY WILL THANK YOU FOR GIVING IT TO THEM!

This little machine has power. Have not yet found a jar it could not open.

This did not work at all. The first can I tried to open, the clamps squeezed the sides of the can until the can almost busted. The top of the can was never opened. . I couldn’t get the can off the opener. I threw opener with can still attached in the trash.

So far so good This was a replacement for a similar model. The first broke. The company gave us a full refund without returning it. You just have to remember to line it up properly and let it do it's thing after you press the button. Probably a good idea not to use this on PLASTIC lids. It will just keep grinding and grinding until it breaks. So metal lids on glass jars is your best bet.

It does not work on many different types of lids or sizes but if you get the right size for it it works pretty good but if you really count on this to help you opening up all your little jars well it won't open up real small ones or larger ones and if the lip on a jar is a certain way it won't grasp it so actually I don't use it very often so not the greatest Buy but it does work good on some and a pretty smart idea if they could just figure out how to make it more Universal for all kinds of lids and jars
