Kikkerland Yellow Submarine Shower Curtain, 72-Inch by 72-Inch

I've actually had this for years and am just now writing a review-- but it's still in great shape! We have a liner on the shower side (with this curtain hanging on the outside of the tub). But it's still gorgeous and holding up great. Makes me so happy to get yellow submarine stuck in my head every time I'm in the bathroom :)

When I discovered that the bathroom at my new apartment was a very deep blue,I started looking for something to brighten up the room without being too loud. This shower curtain is exactly my style and the design is exactly as pictured. I would definatly use this curtain with a liner because it is a thin plastic curtain,as described.I was very impressed with it overall. Yes,it did smell like a little strong when we took it out of the plastic but the smell was gone by the next day.

I am so happy I got this awesome curtain. It brightens up my tiny apartment bathroom and makes it look bigger. Also, I am a huge Beatles fan, so anything with a reference to them is a plus. The materials are light, but seem durable. The smell when you first put it up is a tiny bit overpowering, but it fades after a few days.

It's exactly as it looks in the picture. It's fun and bright and very functional. However, the product has a strong smell that doesn't really leave (smells like inflatable plastic...like an air bed or kiddie pool). The product comes firmly pressed into its folded shape and those lines don't come out, even though it's hanging and getting steamed with every shower. I guess you could try a light iron?

We got this curtain for our Yellow Submarine themed bathroom. It was the only Yellow Submarine curtain I could find. I thought the price of $16ish was a bit high for a shower curtain, but it's been a year now and there is no mold on the curtain, so I haven't had to replace it yet. I put a cheaper white liner on the tub side and this curtain on the outside to help keep the mold away and I always close it after every shower/bath so it has a chance to dry out.

My heart was set on a yellow submarine themed bathroom for awhile now, so this was perfect at the time. I used it for about a year until my dog ripped it up. I did enjoy it, but it did always look kind of cheap. Not like it's bad quality, but the entire curtain is straight up plastic and has a weird clear outline. Had my dog not destroyed it though I would have kept it because it gave a cool bright yellow glow to the shower. However to replace this one I found this shower curtain: ([...]

I just got this curtain and I love it. It's bright yellow but in a bright cheery way. Not overly fluorescent.The curtain is no thinner than the one I had previously, which has held up for months. I was a bit rough with it while putting it up, as a test, and there was no sign that it was too fragile. I'll keep it updated.The smell is nothing I would consider noxious. Its the same smell as any plastic shower curtain has. Not overly pungent.

Even after two weeks this curtain still emits a strong and nauseating chemical odor. That is a sign of VOC's (volatile organic compounds) coming off the product. These chemicals are toxic. Unless you do not mind being poisoned, get something else. If this company had any conscience, it would not make a product that emits such noxious fumes that poison people and the environment. Don't take my word for it. Do an internet search for VOC's and survey the science behind this. You will find objective empirical evidence that such chemicals are toxic. Protect yourselves, and do not endorse this company's reprehensible products.

I have bought this item for the second time because of the uplifting bright yellow colour and the funny drawings on it. The previous one was still good but the colour bleached out by the sunlight. The new one is comparably low quality. The material is flimsy and it looks as if it is cut off at the bottom as the frame for the drawing is gone. I washed my first purchase and it survived the handwash modus of my washing machine well, but of course the fading colours in some pleads remained. So I am stuck with the lower quality successor model. Disappointing.

Great quality. The material is thinck enough to be strong and last a long time, but supple enough to look great as a shower curtain. The colour is exaclty as shown. I recommend it!!!!
