I have taken Akuamma Seed for nearly a decade and this definitely is NOT Akuamma Seed. It's more like Incarvellia than Akuamma. This is the 3rd time I've tried it from this company and have reached out to them to let them know that they've gotten their botanicals mixed up but they don't seem to care. I won't buy from Amazing Botanicals ever again!

The Akuamma seed powder is a dark brown and comes in a small bag. The dose is 200 mg, which equals 200 mg = scant 1/8 teaspoon. A small serving spoon would be a helpful addition. I was very excited to receive the powder. I have taken this about 7 times so far and it has not had any effect. It may have some relaxing properties. It does not seem to be long-lasting. I have not used it for fever-related concerns. I will continue to use it as it does seem to have some health benefits reported. There are some possible side effects at higher doses. Its not as good so far as I hoped but perhaps with further time and use, it will be more effective. I will update as needed.

Im not sure if this is real. Maybe I had a calming effect but I can’t really tell.

This was my first time using Akuamma. I am very familiar with Kratom and this has similar effects. I am quite impressed and I think this would make a great adjunct or replacement to Kratom as it's easier to get depending on your location. The package was smaller than I expected but it's a powerful extract so a little goes a long way. Recommended.

I experienced very mild pain relief followed by unpleasant side effects the following day. I think it has to do with how the extract is made because I had the exact same side effect the following day after trying two different extracts from this company. All three of the them worked to one degree or another but the day after taking each of them separately I experienced a common side effect.

I have taken akuamma in the past and this seems like a high quality product. I usually take another similar, plant-based product regularly but I wanted to try akuamma again. It’s a very fine powder and it’s a concentrated extract form of the product. Akuamma is a tree native to Africa that has been used by the native populations for multiple medicinal purposes including fever and pain relief. There are 30g of product in the bag, it is sealed well (vacuum sealed?). The instructions recommend taking about 1/4 teaspoon at first and see how it works then increase from there if needed. I took the 1/4 teaspoon and that worked great, I had very positive results and I am very pleased with the quality and efficacy of this product. I mixed the powder with a little bit of juice and drank it down in one swoop. I definitely recommend this product especially if you have aches and pains.
