Q: Is this any better than using mineral oil, or is it pretty much the same thing?

This is pure mineral oil, no real difference. Just make sure that if you aren't using this, that you do buy "food grade" mineral oil specifically.

Q: Do you still need to oil the board or does this do it all?

I have the cutting board seasoning stick and board oil. I prefer the oil as the sick just doesn't get the same results.

Q: Where is it made, what is its country of orgin?

The back label says the following :"Manufactured exclusively for Proteak.151 Las Flores Dr Bldg 3 , Wimberley, TX - 78676, (512) 847-6024 by Howard Products, Inc." The country of origin is not provided.
