Men's Long Sleeve Poplin Shirt Casual

Shirts as supplied are described in advert as Cotton Poplin / 100% cotton , however lable on garment says 55% cotton 45% polyester. disapointing . however size and fit is very good and price competative so worth keeping. its just a shame its not as described.

Purchased this item as described as 100% Cotton, however, this is not the case as the item is 55 Cotton/45 Polyester mix. The item was sold by a third party seller dispatched by Amazon so not sure if this is the case for all other sellers. The fit and finishing of the shirt is of a reasonable standard but nothing, including the price, is particularly exceptional for a Polycotton shirt. As with most formal shirts the packaging and pinning of the item make it difficult to examine it or the (tiny) garment label without first undertaking a lengthy dismantling exercise, rendering a return of the item virtually impossible in its original state. Nothing on the external packaging or labelling identifies the material used.

I must say I only ordered medium as large is another £7 lol and it said med was 38 chest where i measured myself as 42 and have long arms still even though i never do my shirts up and wear over a t-shirt there was plenty of room even done up and the arms were well long enough so very happy and going to order another one in a different colourOnly ticked fit as expected as theres nothing else there should be a OTHER box

I think it's good value for the money & I will be buying some more in the next week or two.You can get cheaper ones but they never feel right as this one does. I like plenty of room in my shirts (no snug/slim fits for me thank-you) so I got a 2XL as I normally take a 17.5" collar size. I think their sizing schedule for 2XL equated to 18" so my advice is go for the next size up (if you're at the top of one of their scales) just to make sure you get a suitable & good fit as I have. You can always get away with it being a fraction too large, especially if like me you never wear a tie & always have an open collar. However once the shirts been washed a few times, I'll comment then if I have any problems.

These shirts are best sellers for a reason. The fit is roomy without being baggy. The cut is good; nicely tailored. There are spare buttons (a touch of class), and there's a breast pocket. The material itself feels good, and is not thin. The shirts arrived nicely, and properly packed: qualities from yesteryear. I reckon these shirts are going to last quite a while.

It's difficult to tell if it's the shade of black that is needed until you purchase the product. Unfortunately the shade of black did not match the trousers that it was going to be worn with so had to send it back.Also found the material much thinner than we expected, hence 3 stars

It's okay but the fabric is very thin nearly translucent - absolutely no use to a man with a hairy chest - unless he wants everyone to know he has one, that is! We found the sizing slightly large but that was okay. I think for the money I had expected better quality material though.
