So I had high hopes for this snack since I’m sure everyone has seen these on TikTok. Man they sure made these look tasty and I was hoping I’d like it as well.As everyone has claimed, yes, the smell is pretty bad. Does not smell good at all. the texture was ok, but that was the only good part other than the packaging was good and secure.It was very spicy to point where it was uncomfortable. The taste was not the worst thing in the world, but it wasn’t good. It also gave me a long nasty aftertaste in my mouth. I could only eat 2 strips before I threw them out.

The media could not be loaded. Was super excited to get this in the mail. So delicious, bags are a lot bigger than expected. If you don’t like the spice level of the sauce from Buldak Noodles or Rice cake (Tobboki cakes) then you would not like this. The taste resembles a hint of fish with a major spicy sauce. It’s so good though. Not sure why people think it’s expired either, it’s a shelf product and it shipped without a cooler so of course it’s the production date ! didn’t stink up the house either, it only smells more pungent when you put your nose to it. Very delicious though, will 100% purchase these again within the next few days

Guys. Don’t buy this. It tastes horrible, and the spice is unbearable. Feels like a nuclear bomb went off in your mouth. It smells bad, tastes bad, and overall isn’t worth your ten or fifteen dollars. It’s super chewy as well, which isn’t pleasant.

I had high hopes that I was going to like these but as soon as I opened the bag, I was surprised by the bad smell. I tried it anyway and although the spiciness is okay, everything else is very off putting. The texture is weird and taste is oily.

I'm currently on a Latiao tasting spree and trying different brands to see what I like. This one is my least favorite. I love the texture and flavor but it is overly spicy. I can personally handle spicy food very well and Thai food being one of my favs. This brand of latiao is too spicy to enjoy as a simple pass time snack. I fear eating just one or two is enough to cause an upset stomach. I'm going to finish the batch I bought but in moderation lol...I would probably not get this brand again. But hey, if you want a spicy challenge, this would be it!

I wanted to try something new, and decided to try this product after seeing it all through TikTok. And it has a very pungent smell but it's not too bad. But, it was very spicy I ended up buying a 5-pack. And I will buy it again, I bought enough to share with my siblings. The texture feels weird because it doesn't look like what they show on TikTok.

I saw reviews on the smell but figured it can’t be that bad and as long as it tastes good then it’s fine. I opened it and the smell wasn’t too bad but very strong like plastic and fish. I tasted the latiao and it was so gross! to me, it tasted like if you were eating spicy plastic. usually i’m not picky with foods but i won’t be eating the rest. the texture is fine just very oily. wouldn’t recommend
