Clock Movement Mechanism, Choose Your Hands and Size, USA Made (1/4" Threaded Shaft, J Hands with Gold Second Hand)

This one work perfectly because it made in USA. The other last a week and stoped, of cause it made in China. If it does not say where it made, most likely it is from China "Junk".

Just what I wanted. Was easy to assemble to my clock face to replace old mechanism that no longer worked.

I received this movement and installed per the provided instructions. It started working and then stopped after a few days. The adjustment knob fell off as well. I was promised a replacement which was never shipped. I pursued replacement further and have now received the replacement movement which is working properly at this time after a few days of use. I have modified my rating from 1 star to 3 stars based upon the second movement working correctly. I was disappointed with the first item and delayed customer support from this seller.

The first TAKANE Made in USA clock movement lasted 17 years so I had to replace it. I am very pleased with the quality and longevity

I have received a lot of bad products over the internet but this clock movement is right up at the top of the list. It starts out by warning you against doing certain things to the clock mechanism, that was OK and was followed. The clock worked less than 4 hours before it quit. I then replaced the battery with a new ( the first battery was new) one and reset the clock, this time it worked less than two hours. At that point I ordered another clock movement and sent this one to the trash. Don't waste your money.

I inherited a lovely mantle clock with an unsalvageable mechanical movement. This movement had an option for shorter hands than some I saw online and it was easy to install, came quickly and has been keeping perfect time. The price was perfect.

1/4” shaft has been hard to find. This mechanism is perfect for what I need.The seller was very responsive to questions that I had. I will continue to buy additional mechanisms from the seller!
