Normally I don't believe the "as seen on TV" hype - but THE GRILL DADDY PRO IS THE ULTIMATE BRUSH FOR CLEANING MY GRILL ! I do believe it is cleaner than when it was new! I mean that, all the junk that would not come off even with heating and scrubbing JUST DISAPPEARED FROM MY GRATES EFFORTLESSLY using the grill daddy pro. This brush works GREAT - is it perfect? no is is plastic but that is why the PLATINUM version is available - aluminum housing but cost more and all it does in reality is drip water where you are brushing to produce steam to help you clean but it does it well. The only complaint I have is I feel it should have a higher water capacity but that is a minor complaint considering the great job it does. OVERALL for the price this is the best brush ever made for cleaning grill in my humble opinionI love it and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone - my grill has never been so clean - especially with so little effort. 5***** buy one and ENJOY your grilling - even the cleaning lolUPDATE - -AFTER using this for about 50 times I wanted to come back and post an update- IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE OF THESE AND YOU COOK ON A GRILL YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO BUY ONE. I am glad I got the pro also, at first I thought it was to big but after using it a LOT I have found that it is just about the right size for an all around grill cleaner, Small grills it can seem to be too big but when it is used on a large grill or smoker it seem small when your had get warm LOL. This brush makes super quick work of even the dirtiest grill, and I really put it to a test slow cooking up some super sauced ribs, after about 10-20 seconds of brushing the grates look new again - THIS GRILL BRUSH IS AWESOME! - simple FACT - and Amazon has it for around HALF the price of buying it in a B&M store.IMHO THIS IS A PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE GRILL MASTER IN YOUR LIFE !

My husband & I were trying to remove how long we’ve had ours. Good ole Amazon has the date, Sept 2013 is when we last bought it. It’s honestly still going but it’s time to replace it. Best grill cleaner you could buy. Easy to fill, steam cleans of the grill & even the replacement heads last forever. We’ve only gone thru the original & 1 extra one in the 10 years we’ve had it. Don’t know how ppl could buy anything else when this has been tried & true for such a long time. Definitely recommend.

I took the grill daddy pro apart to see why these things leak. There is a little hollow o-ring gasket that is supposed to seal the reservoir. However, the whole unit is made of three injection molded plastic segments that are plastic welded together. The interfaces of the plastic welds are not even and that will certainly compromise the ability to seal. I've tried to get pics. Without good quality control of these interfaces you simply can't guarantee a product that will be functional. Don't buy it.

Probably if I had seen the Grill Daddy TV commercial I would have been more eager to purchase this. But my wife saw the commercial and told me about it, so I began my research instead of impulsively buying it. Of course, I went to Amazon to see the product and read the reviews and then Googled also. Most of the reviews were very good and people were impressed with it. So, I weighed my purchase decision - this product or a more traditional grill brush. The unique water steam cleaning feature of the Grill Dadday made me want to try it.My first impression when unpacking it was - yes, it is big but the handles on it seem well positioned for good leverage in grill scrubbing (definately two hands for the Pro grill brush). The brushes on the Grill Daddy seem to be good quality and fairly firm. It didn't take me long to try it out. A couple of days ago after I grilled some hamburgers there remained some hardened bbq sauce, etc. So I heated up the charcoal bbq grill and put the grill daddy to work. One thing you must know about using the Grill Daddy is that you don't have to turn the water valvle on it all of the way. The valve regulates the amount of water that flows to the brush. I didn't turn the water valve all the way because I didnt want a lot of water coming out. I think this is the problem some people may have is they turn the valve all the way open and get too much water. As soon as I touched it to the grill it began sizzeling and steaming. The high quality brushes and the water/steam thoroughly and easily cleaned all residue off of the cast iron grill grates. I was very impressed with the Grill Daddy and happy with the purchase. So far no complaints.

First, if anyone is reading this thinking this is a steam-POWERED grill brush, please review the product description. The brush itself does NOT generate steam. You merely fill it with plain old water, flip the switch, and the water trickles out onto the grill plate, creating steam IF the grill is hot. It CANNOT be used with the steam function on a cold grill or cold plates. Basically, you could achieve the same thing by basting or dripping water onto your grill plates and cleaning them with a regular brush. That being said, this brush is HUGE and that makes it much better than a standard cleaning brush, in my opinion. I can brush down my large grill quickly and with relative ease. The bristles on the top of the brush are great for sticky spots or tight grooves around or between the plates. You fill the brush with water, and it holds just enough to thotoughly clean a large grill one time. I usually fill mine in the sink or with the garden hose just before I fire up, so that it's ready when my food's done and my grill plates are hot. Overall, the brush is an effective and easy-to-handle cleaning tool. The two grips make it easier to put pressure on tougher spots, and you don't burn or heat up your hands when steaming (assuming you're not sticking your hands where you shouldn't and are using common sense). Now, if you did go back and review the product description, it is a tad misleading. This brush does NOT clean a grill with steam only by just passing it over. You have to scrub it just like you would with a traditional brush. It does clean quickly, though, and the size alone makes it worth purchasing. Overall a great value. Has been caught in some surprise southern thunderstorms, cleaned my grill nearly daily for months, and still looks nearly new aside from some (expecred) bristle discoloration.
