Part failed with in 3 weeks of installation.
After installing this new thermostat housing assembly into my 2010 Mini Cooper and running fine for about 3 weeks it started to develop overheating issues. When I started to remove the failed assembly one of the hard plastic hose section deteriorated and broke off in my hand as I pulled the assembly from the 3 screws from the engine. I replaced this thermostat housing assembly with a new, and much more expensive STANT 49412 thermostat housing assembly and have been running fine without any over heating issues.

Good thermostat, bad fitment guide.
The thermostat housing appears to be well made. Unfortunately, it won't fit my car without using the wiring adapter, and doing so leaves the faulty temp sending unit still leaking in the adjacent elbow. So I ordered 13621433077 Coolant Temperature Sensor in Lower Radiator Hose Compatiable for BMW E87 E81 3er E46 E90 E91 5er E39 E60 F10. Hopefully that will cure the crazy fan on all the time, and hopefully the only leak was the sensor and not the housing!

Not for 2011 Mini Cooper S
Only ordered this because it was suggested by amazon to fit my 2011 Mini Cooper S, however, it did not.

Sensor failed after 12 days
Piece of junk. Thermostat housing fit without issue, but the sensor started throwing overheating codes after only 12 days in the car. The part is in such an inconvenient location to change that it's not worth having to swap it out just to save a few dollars. I now need to order a quality part and perform the replacement again.

Decent quality. Sensors throw intermittent faulty codes.
Build quality is decent. Not that of OEM, but knowingly sacrificed for a bit more affordable. Lines up very nicely, and deals up well. Only con, and the reason for the 3 star, is that this includes the two sensors. Inclusion of these is not the issue, but their function. Falsely throwing intermittent overheating codes. Sorry I don’t have the codes for reference. Will edit with them once plugged in to diagnostic computer.

Won't fit R60 ALL4S
WILL NOT FIT my 2011 countryman r60 all4s as fitment guide suggests. Similar design except different temp sensor and air bleed valve interferes with high pressure fuel pump. Not happy about considerable wrench turning to access the thermostat, then I don't have the parts to complete project. May be OK for other models, but don't trust the fitment guide.
