The best part is the box they come in
Don't take my title to mean that the spoons themselves aren't usable, as they certainly are, but the best part is the box they come in, and it's really not close.These are budget spoons, so I expected to get a few with some splintering, and indeed that's what I got. I have a dremel with a wood sanding bit that goes into it so I just grabbed that and removed the splinters and smoothed off any rougher edges. Washed them, and then use them regularly now.The box they come in came in great condition though, and didnt seem to have any rough edges or splintering at all, and it's a good size and solidly built. I was very pleasantly surprised by this.I took off a star (down to 3 from 4) because on top of the splintering that was occuring when they arrived, I also had a chunk missing from the main spoon with the three slots (the closed end spoon featured in the center of the main picture). It's more asthetic than anything else, but it's a bit worrisome as to the longevity of the spoons.I'd still recommend them as purchase, but you need to aware of the issues you're likely to face and if you're ok with those issues, then you'll be happy with these spoons. The only thing that I hate at this point in time is the fact that the spatula with the prongs on the end was delivered with it split down the middle. From between the prongs to halfway down the handle. It was a good buy, therefore wasn't sure how long they may last once I received them, but I did not anticipate receiving one already damaged. Will reserve any other commentary until later.

The container vase is broken, maybe during the travel back to my country, I don't know, but is not very solid. The spoons look nice but don't look "bamboo solid"
