Works well!
This board is great - there are many options to work different parts of the foot. It comes with a paper that does them, but I do wish it showed more.

Good to aid with range of motion
I work from a standing desk at home where my feet are often in the same position for long periods of time. When I was doing a lot of running, I was having some soreness and stiffness in my ankles. I keep this on the floor at my desk and just try to engage with it throughout the day to encourage good ankle mobility and strength. It looks nice, it is sturdy, and it proves me with the opportunity to engage my feet more.

With instruction, a great tool (updated)
Update - since my initial review the price has dropped, which helps a lot. And, the listing now includes a video to help get you started. This apparatus has an edge over similar products that I've since reviewed:The plywood is nicer than most, with more plies and better quality. The rocker bars are nicely rounded on the bottom, so they move easily. Some others have flat bottom bars, not as good.Velcro strap joins the two parts - more adjustable, very easy to replace if needed. There is a video here, and a minimal instruction sheet which is okay because there is plenty of instruction available elsewhere. The product quality is what matters most. This one will last.---------------------------------------------------------------------------This could be a great tool for improving balance and strengthening muscles and ligaments, and if you are already working with a physical therapist, this will work for you. For someone who is new to this type of apparatus, there is not enough instruction, and not as much variety in the movable elements as there could have been. It would be greatly helped by a round dome-shaped pivot so the plates could rock 360 degrees around the perimeter instead of just 180 degrees back and forth on a straight rocker bar. With this instrument, they give you one sheet which shows six usages, with pictures that aren't clear and no real instruction. No explanation of how to move the foot, whether to stand on one foot, how much weight to place on it, what kind of posture to maintain. This could certainly be used for successful physical therapy or strengthening, but you'll need information about how to do that from other sources.Other sets are available that include a whole series of clearly-presented exercises, with a complete program that starts easy and gets more challenging, for the same cost as this. The current price of $30 seems high for what you get with this one. The wood is nice and strong, rubber grippy areas are nicely inset, but the wood has no finish at all on it - so it might look dirty before too long, and might not be something that multiple users would want to share.

OK, not Great
I like the idea, but there isn’t enough range of motion laterally for this to really be all that useful. I got it for my daughter who had a pretty severe ankle injury last year from soccer. I thought this would help her strengthen her ankle while maintaining some flexibility. She doesn’t get enough movement to really benefit her. May be great for someone with really limited range of motion.

Not sure using it properly
I have no idea how to use this thing. Got it after a doctor suggested some ankle stabilization tools like dense foam blocks to stand on. Figured to give this a whirl. The wood, sandpaper and materials are great. Don't feel like its gonna fall apart but I just don't understand its use. Standing on it doesn't really do much...and besides the slight tilt I don't see much benefit.I am sure this is just user error so if you looking for something like this. Its definitely a solid device so long as you understand the best way to utilize.

Better made than the 'professional' one I have used in physio.
Edudif Ankle Foot Stretcher Ballet Balance Boards Single Leg Balance Trainer Ankle Sprain Relief for Plantar Fasciitis Relief Ankle Stabilizer Foot Strengthener Posture Corrector.I see negative criticism in the other reviews of this product and I think this may be related to lack of knowledge about this item or unknown expectations.I have had physio for foot and ankle problems and used a product very similar to this, this one is actually better and more versatile than the 'professional' one I used at the physio. Another reviewer complained the instructions were not detailed enough and did not have enough exercises. I took photographs and attached the instructions so you can decide for yourself. This gives 6 different exercises. I only ever did 'usage 2' when I was in physio so to me this is very comprehensive. You are exercising your foot! How many exercises do you need?I like this, I have to disregard the negative reviews as unfounded.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I hope you found it helpful!REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.

Doesn't Help. Makes It Worse
Got this for Plantar Fasciitis, that terrible pain in the heel that runs up the achilles tendon. I followed the instructions, various exercises are shown, and, if anything after a couple of weeks, it made the pain worse. I quit using it. The product is also just cheap wood, Velcro and cloth straps. Not well made and not too stable to use. I can't recommend this product.
