Ateco Star Plunger Cutters, Set of 3 Sizes, for Cutting Decorations & Direct Embossing, Spring-loaded Handle, Food Safe Plastic

I ordered a set of these recently, after I saw pictures of a "cake" that was made by cutting out a big cake-shaped cylinder of watermelon and then using cookie cutters to cut "leaves" out of melon that you attach to the "cake" with toothpicks. I found that if I cut cantaloupe, peaches, or apples into flat, even surfaces about 1/8 inch thick, then I could use these cookie cutters to cut out flowers. These fruit flowers are absolutely adorable!! I've used them on a "watermelon cake" and for sending to school with my kids.Cleanup was easy -- I ran them through the dishwasher, in the top rack, in a small closed plastic basket that is meant for washing baby items.I haven't yet tried using these cookie cutters on dough, but they look to me like they would work well with dough, too.Overall, I am delighted with these cookie cutters and expect to use them many times in the future.

These were great. I punched 100 of the smallest leaf for cupcakes (using fondant) and it held up. I was concerned about the size when I read the other reviews but they were exactly what I needed and expected. It was a little difficult to clean, but I just soaked in water as other reviewers suggested and then it was fine. I'm also guessing that letting the fondant dry would also make for easy clean up. All in all a great little tool and I'm looking forward to using it again.

I have some other stamps of this same style and they leave a deeper impression than these ones do. The impression is pretty faint.

I purchased these for my 18 yr old daughter who makes specialty cakes.She used these leaf cutters for a 4 tier wedding cake and they wereeasy to use and made a great leaf imprint.Will def. buy more shapes as needed.Thanks

A bit smaller than I thought, and not the easiest to clean, but manageable.Easy to use for daintier projects, not meant for use as a cookie cutter.Might've given more stars, but my package only came with two, not a set of three as advertised.

Well made and does what it's supposed to do. I use this for other this besides Sugar Paste and it works perfectly.

Everyone in the world uses the measurement LxWxH except this seller who chose to use the height as the first number rather than the legnth. These cutters are extremely small.

Just love these little lily flower pedals, detail is great I used then with fondant and they came out just beautiful, arrived quickly and in great condition. One note they are very small so of you need something over 1 1/2 "order something else! That is the largest size and I believe that is even being generous.

I was having a hard time finding heart cutters smaller than 1 inch. These are perfect and do exactly what I need them to. The plungers help me get my fondant exactly where I need it without affecting the shape with my fingers! Great product.

My daughter uses these with her play-doh. She loves the presser button. They were a great price at $2.50. Or maybe $3?

Love this set of leaf cutters. Very cute. Work really well with fondant.
