NRG Innovations SRK-162H 6-Hole Hub Adapter Kit [For 97-02 Ford E-Series/F-Series]

Nice tight fit on a 2011 Ford Ranger. I did not have to trim anything on the clock spring or anything else. My truck has the dual stage airbag, so 2 sets of 2 wires to put resistors on. I used the supplied resistors. Horn works, no airbag light. To get the stock wheel off, after disconnecting the wires, loosen the main bolt and back it out just a bit, maybe 1/4". Then, firmly torque the wheel from side to side (hands on 3 and 9 o'clock) as you also pull towards you. Put muscle into it and be patient, it'll take a little while to wiggle it off. Also, make sure the clock spring connectors go into the cavity on the hub, if you're not careful you may clip the side of the connector plug.

97-03 is the 10th generation of ford f150 some reason its labeled only 97-02 it can and will fit on a 03. I have a 2003 ford f150 xlt. But note the resistors will not work for the airbag it needs to be 3ohm not 2.

Takes a little bit of mods and then fits like a charm. plan out your horn wire route before you install the adapter.

Works perfectly on my 2004 Ford Ranger Edge. Took about 20 minutes to uninstall the factory wheel and install this hub and new 6-bolt wheel. Works perfectly and looks great, almost factory.

This thing was made out of one chunk of aluminum solid as hell very impressed with the NRG products so far

I install this product on a 1999 Ford ranger and everything came out great the product works just fine. However there’s a bit of a space right now that I will have to seal up with either a hub spacer or some kind of trimming so that you can’t see inside the steering column.
