My girls are excited about having this feature rather than a stand alone tent. Having an easy way to access the inside of your SUV can be a very helpful thing in certain situations. (I like the PROSPECT of getting away from predatory animals should you hear strange noises outside of your tent in the middle of the night, this could be a very useful resource). This tent is incredible. Fits perfect on my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness Edition without the need for a bulky, limited rooftop setup! We have options for who gets what room too, because I've also got an inflatable mattress that's fit to the interior of the car. It's pricey, but it's equivalent to what you'd get at R.E.I. for three times the price!
