The Complete Zaha Hadid

One of the great Architects of the modern era. Love love love her!!! This book has all her work, haven't really dived too deep into it as I found the forward to be a bit esoteric and metaphysical, but the document seems to be comprehensive and detailed.

Photographs with written text to describe the built structures but lacks complete information on proposed projects and unrealized structures. The material needs to be better organized and indexed. Competent beginners or introductory level text.

Beautiful book, explains what the building, the ideas behind it, accompanied with wonderful photography and artworks. Really helps to understand her and what she's capable of doing. Fantastic investment.

This is a beautiful book at such a reasonable price. So sad that Zaha Hadid died last year when she was relatively young and had many more years ahead of her.

The book arrived on time and the quality is as good as expected, I would recommend it to anyone interested in the works of such great architect as Hadid.

Was hoping that the graphic layout of the book would be as sexy as her architecture, but was sadly disappointed. The information about her projects is interesting but poorly presented.

After comparing both side by side I concluded that this handy book is better. It includes small technical drawings, which allow to visualize/understand the projects/designs/buildings better than the other book. And some designs are quite complicated and confusing, as being flowing (not orthogonal), and really difficult to comprehend especially for an average reader (I have a degree in architecture). "(Zaha) Hadid Complete Works 1979–" by Taschen is incomplete not in the scope of projects, but in the presentation of each. I know, it is a coffee table publication very well printed on excellent paper, but it is also quite heavy and not convenient to hold in hands. I personally do not like "(Zaha) Hadid Complete Works 1979–", even though it is a good book, and this one I consider be better. However, "de gustibus non est disputandum".

In addition to a fascinating look at architecture that Hadid and her team have created around the world, this book also presents an interesting selection of objects, furniture, and interiors by various artists.An enjoyable, inspiring book.

The book is full of phenomenal photos, conceptual and completed projects of the Bureau of Zaha Hadid.

El típico libro que corre el riesgo de no contentar a nadie por querer buscar un equilibrio imposible. A los entendidos en arquitectura les resultará superficial porque, pese a su amplio número de páginas, la lista completa de trabajos de Hadid es tan grande que apenas se le puede dedicar media página o una página a la mayoría de ellos, con un texto breve poco ilustrativo. A los profanos que simplemente buscan recrearse con la belleza de los originales edificios de la genial arquitecta les defraudará que el libro, pese a su buena factura (tapa dura, buen papel, excelente calidad de imagen) tenga un tamaño pequeño (24 x 24 cm, aproximadamente), contenga gran cantidad de diseños en ordenador de los proyectos de los edificios (sólo atractivos para los entendidos) y sus fotos sean en la mayoría de los casos de pequeño tamaño, con lo que los magníficos edificios se lucen poco a los ojos del lector. Hubiera sido más sensato dedicar el libro a una selección de los mejores trabajos de Hadid, pero con más fotos e información de cada uno, y en un tamaño mayor que permitiera disfrutar mejor la belleza de las geniales creaciones de esta artista. Tal y como se ha editado, el libro es claramente decepcionante.
