I have a 14-1/2 year old yellow lab with degenerative myelopathy. It is imperative that she wears boots on her back feet, without them she causes damage to her nails and skin on the top of her feet.. I went through so many ill fitting, poor quality boots before I came across these boots on Amazon. The fit and quality of these boots are wonderful.. I am so happy with them that I ordered a second set. They are easy to put on, they stay on and best of all my girl doesn't mind wearing them which she is in them all day.. they wash and hold their shape.. the rubber soles give her a lot of confidence on the wood floors in my house.. they are rugged and protect her feet. I strongly recommend these for dogs with special needs or dogs that just need a pair of boots ..I have to mention that a few weeks after I wrote this review, I noticed that my girls feet were getting very yeasty.. because she wore them all day until I put her to bed I didn't realize it probably wasn't a good idea.. I only use them now for when I take her outside.

Although this boot fits the dog's feet (barely), the ankle wraparound isn't enough to go around her bigger leg bones and stay securely. Adding Gorilla tape to it would do the trick, but I went ahead and ordered the next size up, with the hopes that it will fit better (I will probably still add some tape for extra security). I have several dogs, so having the boots in a variety of sizes is good; including using one size for the front feet and the next smaller size for the back feet.It looks as if the quality of the boot is very good, and slipping it on and off is easy enough. I echo other's thoughts that selling them in twos might be better, so different sizes could be gotten for front and back feet.

These boots are well made & very easy to put on!I tried 3 sizes and unfortunately my dog is between sizes. I'm going to keep one pair for quick in & outs, not walks. We have to keep his feet dry & protected due to his allergies. That being said, the rubber soles are waterproof, but not the fabric. Even with Scotchguard! The company was very helpful when I received a mismatched set. I do appreciate that. These are the easiest boots I've found to put on tho.

The shoes are very well made and high ualitu so 3 stars for that. I reduced two stars because I ordered them for my cocker spaniel and they go over her join lt on her back legs which causes them to repeatedly fall off.Also for a medium size their girth is very large

Returned for two reasons: They are too wide for their length for our Border Collie/Lab mix and thus they rolled over the foot quite quickly. The second reason is that the direct velcro secure method is too pickin' simple for our dog to figure out. She adjusted in the house over five or six supervised wear sessions, but as soon as we were out of sight she ripped them off in two seconds flat. For this design to work, they'd need to come with little miniature padlocks. Good quality materials though. And they might work well for a less active, less "physics-professor" type of dog.

No doggie boots seem to fit well and always upset my dogs. So for doggie boots they work. They look like they will fit better than they do, but again, all doggie boots seem to be that way, so they are good for protecting paws from salt etc, but don't expect your pup to love em.

Shoes are much smaller than stated. I suggest if your dog has fur on their feet, go to the next size. The product looks nice, quality seems good, but the size is small. I will have return my size medium and get the large. For reference: he is a sheepdog and weights roughly 45 lbs.

My dog is slowly getting used to walking in these. Measure carefully, there is very little stretch to the material, but they seem to stay on OK with gentle walking. That said, my dog hasn't tried running or jumping in them yet as she is very confused by her inability to make contact with the ground.
