The colors are really pretty and I like how shimmery they are. They look different depending on the lighting and you see the color change more in bright lights. I haven't had any problems with them chipping off. You do need to do a couple of coats and I did put a clear coat over them to help protect them a little more. They have stayed on just as well as the other Beetles gel colors that I have used and I have used a lot of them over the last couple of years. The colors seem a little darker than the picture but I've been happy with them. Some say that they are thicker but I didn't really think they were, but I shook it up before I used it and the color was just fine and not too thick.

These are great gel polishes for the price. I recently started doing my own toes, and I am definitely not a professional, but I’ve done them twice now and they looked great both times. The colors are truly sparkly; most of them are bright and vibrant. The blue is too dark for this set in my opinion, and the purple is just okay. Neither is bright enough for my liking. The polish is thick, which makes it a little difficult to put on the smaller toenails, but I just have to be careful not to load too much on the brush. The first time I did them, it lasted a month before the edges got rough from growing out and I couldn’t stand it anymore—I had to peel it!! Overall, I’ll stick with this brand due to the price and the performance of the product. I can’t wait to try more colors!

Very pigmented takes a while to cure when doing many layers make sure to fully cure each layer

Maybe I'm an idiot. I mean I am. But I'm not this big of an idiot. I was so excited to get this kit because I had accidentally bought beetles polish before with no foundation or topcoat. There are a ton of colors that I assume are great. All of the polishes are labeled with stickers on the top so you can see the color and the black bottle helps the polish keep. They're small bottles but for the price and variety it seems like a good deal. My first whine is that these applications require four steps that are actually more like 8 steps plus correcting the horrible mess Ive made on my right hand that seems irreversible sans a surgical procedure to remove my cuticles. I'm having a panic attack already.I go Foundation. Cure. Color. Cure. Color. Cure. Topcoat. Cure. Cry immediately. I finish the cycle. My ancestors are proud. It's so thick on my nail I feel like I'm suffocating through my fingers. The quality is ok. Some of the lighter colors look like they need another coat. But as soon as I'm finished with all of this, it just shoofs off like one big sad bandaid. I have no idea how to make it stay on my nails. I've washed and buffed them but it still slides off.
