The screen is too narrow to stay up as when unfolded, the sides are good 2" narrower than the glass which means the clips don't reach and stay in the headliner. No way this would ever work the way it's designed/made. The spring and material does seem more substantial than many of this type of shade. The problem is that the ends are tight and you must flex the steel banding into the corners but the rest of the body is too narrow for this style of clip to reach and hold in place. It would also be helpful if there were ANY TYPE of instructions included, which there were none... no instructions, no pictures, etc. I was able to slide it under the headliner in front and using a putty knife, get it under the rear but the sides still would not clip in as they were too far from the edge. Also, at this point I'm having my hand on the liner and found even though it reflects the light, it still captures the heat between it and the glass so was too hot to rest your hand on it. It would in no way reduce your A/C load as the heat is already i the car. I think to resolve this, you'd have to have a sunshade that actually had insulating properties, not just reflective.

Nice fit, covers everything. No gaps. Worth the money, ready for summer...

Immediately noticable that it blocks heat and makes the AC works less hard. The reflective layer does its job.The fit is imperfect but adequate. The rear shade holds itself in. The front requires half a dozen clips twisted on the spring steel frame to keep from sagging. The rivian roof being a bit irregular width at the back of the front glasss is troublesome.There are basically no instructions. The diagram to fold the shades for storage isn't very helpful. Search YouTube for how to fold a Tesla roof shade and you'll come across tutorials. In short grab two opposite sides and hold it against your chest vertically. Twist into a figure eight shape and bring your hands together in the middle. The shade should fold into a butterfly shape.

the fabric is effective at blocking strong sun and cuts down on the heat. However the larger front screen is not a perfect fit. The steel coil that springs it open feels just a bit to big, and bows towards the center of the roof exposing gaps on the edge. Pushing it closed causes the opposite edge to pop open. the plastic clips are quite useless at keeping the screen in place as well, and do nothing but fall off when the gaps pop open. For the most part the screen stays up, but it has fallen down a few times on our kids, it is light and doesn't hurt them or anything, but it is so big and awkward we can't put it back up until everyone is out of the car, so it gets thrown in the back until everyone is asleep later.

Two of us - cursing and sweating - still couldn’t make this fit. I’d read the reviews here about one end being smaller than the other so we tried it both ways around. Good luck to you if you can get it to stay up. At least one side at any time was bowing in, making a gap. We gave up after 20 minutes (for ONE shade) and it’s on its way back. I don’t normally write reviews but this was $76 of complete disappointment

This set comes with 2 roof shades and a complimentary windshield shade. The windshield shade is pretty much generic but it does fit the width and height of the windshield. Not perfectly, but decently enough. Does work to keep out some heat as well! Now the 2 roof shades, one for the front and one for the cargo area. Includes a ton of clips that you must install before the shade will hold up. The front shade is about 98% good fit, slightly smaller than the actual roof glass area so you need the clips. The rear cargo shade is actually slightly oversized (at least the ones i got) which don't require me to use any clips. Might just be a manufacturing error, but i've driven over 1k miles now without any clips on the rear cargo and it hasn't fallen down yet. They definitely help to keep some heat out, but not sure how much.

The front sunshade didn’t fit well in our Rivian R1S. The back sunshade was fine. We did rotate it 180 degrees in case we got it wrong and it still had a big gap on one side. The clips couldn’t hold it in place even when we tried to pull it outward to fill in the gap. We returned the product.

Too narrow for the windows. Comes with no instructions. Very disappointing
