The fireplace is beautiful. The red in the photo is just slightly more red than the actual fireplace, which is slightly darker. It's hard to reproduce accurate color on the internet.The only flaw I had in mine is the burner itself isn't perfectly level. The burner is a metal tray that holds the biofuel in the middle of the fireplace and is a separate piece. The top of my burner is slightly (unnoticeable unless you get down on the floor and stare) warped and thus doesn't lay perfectly flat inside the fireplace. This is a very little quibble over an otherwise perfect piece.The fireplace requires a lot of fuel (basically one bottle for 3-4 hours), which can be costly. If you're looking for a daily fire in your home, this is not an economical option. This is definitely a show piece for your home.

Super easy to assemble with two people. Looks beautiful and much better than pressed logs in my fireplace. Looks great even when not lit. I like the fact that there is a glass plate between the flame and the room, just in case someone gets too close.The fuel is a bit expensive, which is my only negative.

Purchased this item in white. Assembles easily, looks fantastic! Love the contemporary lines. This added the perfect touch to our decor. Burns clean; lasting about 6 hours. Wonderful, portable alternative to enjoy the warmth and romance of a fireplace.
