I purchased this alarm for my wife who is a walker. The area where she walks has dogs & homeless plus there has been mountain lions spotted in the area. In the past she carried a whistle, but when I saw this alarm on Amazon I immediately purchased it. At this point she has not needed to use it, but it is available & no doubt will be very effective when needed. When tested it is very loud & effective & very easy to activate.

I like the fact that you can carry one or two of these in your car or on your keychain. The light is very useful for when you are in a dark area and need to find something you dropped. The L.E.D. light is very bright and can be used as a flashlight, to be honest. The big button in the middle is not used for anything. I thought that it can be used but that's not how you make the sound go off. You pull on the chain and once you do that this little guy makes A LOUUUUUUD SOUND. I would say cover your ears before you use this to see how loud it is because it is very loud. Great product.

Update** have only used this a couple times but battery is dead. Since it gives no warning I tested it with my friend to help her feel more at ease while we were on a sketchy streat and the alarm didn’t go off! If we were actually in danger we would have been completely vulnerable. If your life was on the line would you want an item that is of no use?Really great! The only thing is I have to resist the urge to pull the pin all the time. :) I like minimalist things so I wish it were a little smaller and possibly cuter, but it’s meant to protect me. So I’m okay with that.

These kept going off in my purse, so you have to be careful because if it becomes disconnected it makes a loud noise!

I have three granddaughters and many female friends your alarms are now.on their keychains. I carry one too in my key chain because I’m prone to fall d the alarm works for too in getting attention. Great produce as you can see I have ordered a lot of them.

Great little device to scare away burglars for anyone trying to cause harm. Just don't hold it to your ear for long periods of time because you will go deaf like I did.

It’s pretty loud my wife and girls love it, very practical and easy to use nice item, every woman should have one.
