The inverter-generator is pretty much as advertised. We have used in on Propane only, in order to keep the engine gunk-free. So far we have not tested at high altitude, but at 3,000 ft where we live, it operates very well. Highly recommend watching a few YouTube videos about the unit, to save time and to clarify operating and set-up instructions (for instance, it's important to connect the battery wires properly before starting it. We did everything as suggested and it started up the first time (push-button) on propane only. According to one video, if using propane, it's helpful to close the spark plug gap just a teeny bit. But getting the spark plug out with the tool that comes with the generator was not possible. It was a flimsy socket tool that stripped (the plug stayed fine). Went to the auto-parts store and purchased a spark plug removal extender socket for about $12. This on the end of my socket wrench worked perfectly -- plenty of leverage and a tight fit that made plug removal easy. The propane adaptor works great, and the generator ran our RV airconditoner (3,500 watt) perfectly. The ONLY thing that we noticed (so far) is that the noise level is not as quiet as advertised. It's not horrible, but it's not as quiet as 53-55 db. At 20 feet away, it's more like 63-65 db. Still very good, but more than advertised. Other than that, it's a great deal for the money -- portable, realt4ively quiet, good power output, versatile and not too heavy (53 lbs, plus it is on wheels). A this point, would highly recommend.

Bought this MAXPEEDINGRODS - 3500W DUEL FUEL INVERTER GENERATOR JUL. 28,2023 When it first arrived using only Propane fuel it ran perfect. Ran it about every month for about 20 min. each time, then I missed for about 3 months and then I could not get it to start and the battery went Dead. Oil is up to the threads still only using Propane Fuel and having to use pull cord DARN. Well now what the heck do I do? Can't figure out how to get help Phone number is useless am still trying to contact Customer Service but can't figure how to do it Being 86 years old don't Help, any ideas out there? -Well this is a Revised Review, I am going from a 2 star to a 5 star rating, here's why. Maxpeedingrod Contacted me after reading my review and First off they supplied me with a wiring diagram that allowed me to get the electric wiring right, second they have ordered me a new Battery from China and have assured me if that doesn't fix things they will continue to work with me to get things right, OH did I mention they offered to give me a complete refund, A great gesture I thought says a lot about the company. Now I am looking forward to what else I can buy from them because of there great customer service. Maybe they might call if they get a good refurbished unit to match what I have an double my power output. One thing I discovered ,even if the battery goes dead you can still start the generator using the pull cord and manually adjust the Choke worked for me. It is really a smooth running machine and when I plugged in the grinder and my wife's hair dryer the generator hardly revved up much, I am really tickled with my unit and feel some what prepared living in Florida for the next Hurricane thanks to maxpeedingrods, WAY TO GO GUYS!

Great idea but think long and hard before buying one! What a great idea but horrible implementation. First off the App is so wonky you will go crazy trying to get it to work. It works then it doesn't and when they update the app you go through crazy attempts and reinstalls that just don't work. The real issue is the battery used for the starting... when it goes dead and it will... you CANNOT start the generator NOT EVEN WITH THE PULL CORD. They have some type of electronic choke that need the battery! I had to take the genrator apart, find the battery (good luck) disconnect the propane hoses to squeeze it out and then jump start the generator with a 12 volt battery... and wait for it... there are no replacement batteries availible... don't believe me... just try to find one. DO NOT BUY THIS GENERATOR UNTIL THE COMPANY FIXES THE APP AND MAKES A BATTERY AVAILBLE.

Generator works good and starts on the first pull, but the fuel cap broke after the second fill, I called customer support and they are sending a new replacement cap, unfortunately a two week delivery time. Customer support was very helpful though!

Generator was purchased with little reading due to timing. We experienced a tornado and needed quickly and it shipped next day. We were impressed how well it worked and how quiet it was. We had no power for 8 days and had no issues at all.

Picked this up to run the a/c and charge my camper battery. (My 2000 watt one wasn't string enough to do both, this one should have plenty of power) Breaking it in now. So far it's been going great. Will update after hard use. *This is 3500 watt not the advertised 3400 watt. *I seen complaints about the spark plug being hard to access but a spark plug socket and a simple extension makes it pretty easy. Very nice accessories included that you don't even see on name brand. Things I changed to make life easier with a budget generator: 1: Upgraded the sparkplug to a hotter iridian one. (Easier starting the the cheap generic one included) 2: spray a small amount of k and n air filter oil on the air filter and dab out access with a rag. 3: replaced dipstick with magnetic dip stick. (There's no oil filter, this is huge!) Manual says to change oil after 20 hours of use. As with any small engine this is terrible advice and a quick way to make these generators only a one or two season machine. Proper break in: use 10-30 mineral based break-in oil with zinc. Break in 6 sessions all non echo use a space heater for load. 1st 30 min run: 15 min no load 15 min space heater on low. Change oil. 2nd 2 hour run: alternate space heater every 10-15 min; low, high, off, low, high off. Change oil while warm, Let completely cool. 3rd 2 hour run: alternate every 30 min; low, high off with space heater. Let cool completely, change oil. 4th, 5th and 6th are the same as 3rd but you don't need to change oil in-between, just let engine completely cool between. *After 6th change to synthetic oil run it under high load for 15, 20 min and change oil again with synthetic. To flush out all the break-in oil. This process allows proper ring and valve seating at all the temperature ranges and clears out the massive amount of metal shavings you get with break-in before they cause issue. After break in re-adjust your valve lash and check every 100 hours or so after it every other season. Use non ethanol gas run empty when not going to use it for a month. Put fuel stabilizer in any gas not used within a month and at the end of season pour that gas in your car and use fresh gas next year. These little Honda clone engines will live a very long time if properly maintained but die fast if not. Overall it's a great value being less then half the price as name brands. Break-in oil used: Royal purple engine break in oil. Regular oil: Briggs and Stratton 4t racing oil (best small engine oil on market)

Got a great deal on it. Probably won’t have selected it if it wasn’t on sale but will run my camper ac unit for an 1-2 hours. Very quiet even with ac on high. It’s a 13000 Btu ac unit. I bought a 2600 watt generator at first and it sounded like it was running at full blast to kept up with ac unit. The app is a pain to connect, but it will give you wattage use and tank level.

This portable generator was absolutely worth the investment. During the recent ice storm, we lost power for an extended period, and this generator saved approximately $500 worth of frozen food from spoiling. I don't EVER leave 5 star reviews. Perfection is unattainable. But this little genny just impressed the heck out of me. I bought this unit 06 Nov 2022 as an emergency backup to my emergency 200AH battery and solar system. On receipt I filled it with the best synthetic oil available and cranked it 2 dozen times to cycle some oil through it. I checked the spark plug gap and then fogged the cylinder with oil so it wouldn't rust inside itself during storage. went over the startup procedure with my family and then put the cover on and hid it in a corner near the patio door where it sat for a year. We just had a huge fall storm come in this weekend but we got by with no outages. But that kicked me to test it fully for once. I had less than 1L of fuel from my lawnmower jug. On choke it started on 3rd pull. Right away turned from choke to run and the idle (on ECO) settled perfectly and totally smooth. Ran it on Eco (1/2 RPM) for 40 mins with no load waiting for wife to get ready for work. I then flipped my mains off, turned ECO off which increased speed to max and then plugged it in to power one side of my breaker box. DO NOT attempt this yourself!! You could kill a linesman or yourself! The engine speed dropped just the slightest bit on plug-in because I flipped almost everything off first including furnace. I went around turning circuits back on and was very pleased to find both fridge and furnace powered on the same side of breaker box. Everything ran great, lights, fridge, furnace. I then switched to ECO mode and the engine speed (and noise) dropped by half!! What!! With a load on! Occasionally when the fridge compressor kicked in, or furnace motor fired up, my LED light fixtures would dim for a half second or so but the genny reacted very quickly and promptly idled up to meet the draw that was put on it. My 60" TV did not even react. Nor did anything else I noticed. Engine speed seemed to increase a bit now and then when I didn't think an inductive load had cut in, but it still ran solid and kept us powered up. I think it ran almost 3 hours total with both load and no load on less than 1L of fuel. The ECO mode works incredibly well in dropping the engine speed and then ramps up to meet the load requirements. I'm changing the oil tomorrow and installing a magnetic drain plug which every small engine should have to prolong life. This unit meets all my needs and passed my tests. I should be able to rely on this for many years.

Bought as an emergency back-up to charge batteries on cloudy days (solar set-up) ... I carefully read the reviews before buying, everybody was giving a go (4+ stars).. even watched reviews on youtube/net to have live reviews from real people ... ordered it, received it very fast (like next day!), followed start-up procedure, started second pull, everything went perfectly well, pushing more than enough power for my little charger (only needs about 500 watts) until the second time I tried to use it (first use was about 4 hours / half a tank)... It just didn't start .. again followed procedure, oil level fine, full of fresh new gasoline, spark plug does sparks and dry, (I'm a certified small engines mechanic) gas gets in the cylinder, but no matter what I do will not start - did not want to investigate further so the warranty doesn't get voided ) ... at least 100 pulls later, nothing ... tried to contact amazon and/or seller, they asked me to send picture/video of the thing not working (!) via an e-mail adress that Amazon gave me ... I did so, three times now, almost a month later and no news whatsoever ... yep, that thing is perfect for 1 shot, then you just throw it in the garbage ... now I'm buying another brand, should have done this first time ! please, don't buy !! you will get NO ANSWERS/RESPONSE from the company !!! 1 year warranty ??? don't think so ... Oh , btw, how can we give less than 1 star ? cause I would give 0.5 star for the fast shipping...

On initial start, very easy to set up and start. APP seems to be connecting and working as described. Nice, compact and quiet. Took a moment or 2 to figure out how to remove the panel to access add the oil for initial start up. Directions are not crystal clear. Otherwise I like the whole concept. I also like the 3 adapters.
