Our 8-year-old greyhound loves it. She was starting to limp from time to time, and after two visits to the vet and two sets of x-rays confirming good bone structure and no arthritis, we started suspecting her bed. Greyhounds love to sleep in a variety of positions... it's a constant form of amusement to see these graceful dogs splayed out in crazy ways. She had become quite fond of our Halo beds (sometimes called a cuddle cup), but this required her to curl her body inward. It occurred to us that this may be the problem – we could see that her rear leg joints were sometimes forced into odd positions that seemed likely to cause undue pressure.Sure enough, after buying this bed and taking away the Halo beds, her limp eventually disappeared. For an older dog, having a bed large enough to sleep extended becomes increasingly important. This is a quality bed at a very fair price... we are completely satisfied with the purchase

My guy is getting older and a little creakier as time goes by. His old bed upstairs was flattening out and not providing much support. Every night, when we turn on the fan and turn off the lights, he would get up and head downstairs to sleep on the couch.The bed arrived today and on the very first night, he is still on it, even with the lights off and fan on.We may have to deal with a snoring dog in the room at night now, but it is worth it if he is as comfy as he seems to be.

My dog loves this bed. There are four dog beds and two dogs here, but this is the one they want to sleep on. We got this for our Shepherd, she had knee surgery and we wanted something very comfortable for her recovery, and that we could lie down with her, and this is it! It's so comfortable that the people are taking naps on it. Best bed we've had, and we've had a lot. My dog is 7 weeks in to TPLO surgery, doing great, and the bed is holding up really well.

Perfect for my 9 month old danes. These are the Large size. They are so thick and firm, that my 90 lb danes don’t even put a dent in them! I did have to send one back because it didn’t expand in the headrest part, but just received the new one and it’s perfect!! The one on the left is new one and was delivered an hour before pic, so hasn’t fully filled out and “relaxed” from being rolled up. But still perfect! One on right came 2 days earlier.

Good bed but absolutely not waterproof. Foam smells like sweaty paws and pee after a week. Very thin cover, fragile. Foam for the headrest is ungluing. Had it for almost two years now, happy overall but the above mentioned complaints were from day 1.

The bed is really nice, but for some reason my dog just doesn’t like it. I think it is too tall for a dog with really bad hips/back legs. He struggles to get on and off he bed. I would say, if you have an able-bodied dog, they will probably love it, but if your dog has trouble walking, probably sondider something shorter.

The bed arrived with damaged foam. I thought at first perhaps it would correct itself as some foams do after being compressed, but several days after being unrolled it is no better. There is only loose material where the pillow should be the foam is so permanently compressed. And the creases on damaged foam in the bed have caused permanent waves in the bed no dog would want to sleep on. I took the cover part way off for photos after 2 days of being unrolled to show what I mean. The other photos posted by customers look nothing like what arrived. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt as any product can have a faulty batch and so I emailed them via Amazon link. Nothing for 2 days....So I emailed them a second time asking for help in exchanging if this was a just a bad batch. Another 2 day gone by and still no response. Now I am just going to return. Horrible product and even worse customer service.

A few years ago we ordered this style of bed, and wanted a second after we took in an arthritic senior. This is an excellent bed, at a price that I think is a bargain. It may take some dogs time to get used to a new bed, you may want to put a familiar blanket over it to start off, but especially for a larger dog, or one with any sort of joint issues, this bed can't be beat.
