I’m in love with Gage
4.5 - Okay so I’m officially a Bunkhouse girl. Yeehaw and all that.Blythe is my girl. The burden on her shoulders and in her mind is something I recognize in myself. I love that she found her way back home through her own process. It wasn’t easy but it was what she needed to find her own strength and more.Gage is Mr. Acts of Service like no other. The fact that we never once had the moment where he blurted out what he did means so much to me. Everything was so genuine from him. I love him I love him I love him.

Such a fun read
This book was actually so good! It’s a fast paced small town romance that had me kicking my feet in the air! Definitely a sweet and steamy read.I really enjoyed the plot and going through Blythes thought process on what she wants to do with her future career and the internal battles she has. It’s very relatable to me since I was in the same position. I also really loved how much she cared and supported her family. The relationship between Gage and Blythe was pretty fast but I actually didn’t mind it at all. It definitely worked really well with the storyline and how fast everything played out. All of her brother warrens friends treated Blythe and her best friend so well and it was really nice to see them treat her like a sister…. Except Gage of course. I will say the last bit of the book I felt was a bit rushed and just really threw you into a loop of Gages past life and didn’t give much context on why his father wouldn’t represent Reynolds in court so it just kind of got a bit confusing in that part. But overall i think it was a great book and I can’t wait to read the next book!

Gage & Blythe
Summary: Blythe is burned out by working hard in medical school and her brother convinces her to come home for the holidays. She can stay in the bunkhouse at the ranch where he works. Gage is a cowboy (or is he?) at the ranch and can't seem to deny the magnetic attraction he feels with Blythe. Secrets unfold as they fight their feelings and try to figure out how to be together when they want different things.Thoughts: There were a few great things about this book: the on-page representation of burnout and the reminder to care for ourselves, Gage, and the cowboys. I loved their banter and camaraderie, as well as their commitment to one another. I didn't necessarily feel like there was a ton of chemistry between the two main characters beyond attraction to one another, so I wasn't really attached to the outcome of their story. There was a sub-plot around Gage's family that didn't seem necessary, so I think that's what threw me off a bit. Also, I'm typically a very fast reader, so knowing this book took me almost 4 days to finish didn't really bode well for my interest in the story. If you like ...🤠Cowboys🤠The Brother's Best Friend trope🤠A little suspense🤠Solid side characters/friends🤠Found familyThen this is for you!

Fun and Flirty Cowboy Romance
Y’all. This was the most fun book I read all year! It brought back so much nostalgia for me of my college years in Alabama and meeting my husband. I relate to Blythe so much as a character - she’s smart, sassy, and driven to a fault. And Gage had me swooning - he falls hard & fast and never backs down! Seriously, get yourself a cowboy who remembers your favorite blanket and installs a porch swing just because he knows you want one. And I cannot wait to read the rest of the series about the bunkhouse boys - Tripp, Warren, and especially Heston 😍 If you want a witty cowboy romance that does insta-love the right way, with a dash of thriller, go get this book now!⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀“𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘉𝘭𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸, 𝘐’𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦. Blythe and Gage
Ok this book is well written and yes he could have been longer but the twist in this book is so mind blowing just an FYI. I love both Gage and Blythe characters because they both were hiding something. Blythe was stressing about her career and family . She was burning herself out and I’m happy she had such a great support system. Now , Gage is a whole another story and you will need to read this book to find out . But love this book and I will be reading more from this author

Steamy brothers best friend story
Blythe recently finishes school to become a doctor and has some time between school ending and her residency. Her family comes from humble beginnings, and she needs to de-stress before taking on the responsibility of becoming a doctor and providing for all of them. She stays with her brother Warren at a bunkhouse on three farm he works at, and quickly realizes how hot his best friend is. But she’s leaving in a few weeks and doesn’t want a relationship.Gage has been listening to Warren talk about how amazing his sister is for years. But he isn’t prepared for the beauty to go along with the stories. He falls fast and hard for Blythe, but he can’t keep her safe. He doesn’t do relationships. But the flirty banter they have between one another cannot be stopped. So they come up with a pact, friends with benefits.

4 and half star review
Ahhh....Gage & Blythe were EVERYTHING together! This book was my first cowboy romance but included a lot of my fav tropes including small town romance. This will not be my last cowboy romance, and definitely not my last Lainey Lawson book! It very much gave off 'Yellowstone' vibes but with much more romance and spice! I also loved the added action and suspense to the romance theme of the book!"When it comes to Blythe Farrow, I'm good as gone."
