Perfect!
This is perfect! Leak and spill proof! Durable! I can put it in my bag full of hot tea and not worry. Keeps my tea hot! Highly recommend!Note: The color seems more rose gold than brown.

Gold travel mug
The media could not be loaded. This a nice sleek feeling travel mug. The colour is much more of a pale gold colour than in the product photo, and I actually like it more than I expected to!The mug itself doesn't leak! I've used it several times this week already and had no issues, however, I want to say that I do always try and place it upright in my bag! I've included a video where I shock it around upside down to try and show this!To drink, you need to press the "button" upwards to open the drinking spout. I don't find it especially intuitive to open and drink from the opposite side (yet) but it does work and certainly keeps in the heat! After a few uses the press up has become less stiff and easier to do.I filled it full of tea the other morning, having heated the flask first with boiling water and my tea stayed hot and refreshing over the next 3 hours. I've also bought a coffee shop coffee and used the cup, again my drink stayed hot for the next 3-4 hours.Although you can't fully dismantle the lid it does seem to be easy to wash up well and keep clean. I generally use a separate travel mug for tea and coffee but don't feel like I need to do that anymore.Overall I do really like this and recommend it.

Much nicer colour than I thought
The colour almost looks like a lighter gold/ sandy colour. It's great at keeping drinks warm for a long time - even if I forget it's still warm enough for me to drink happily. The lid is a bit hard - definitely wouldn't say its easy to open with one hand. You have to use quite a bit of pressure and be careful when opening it up. You can get yourself caught when closing it too. I use the dishwasher to wash to lid and it comes out fine - sadly can't wash the actual bottle in there too. It can hold smells for a while if they're particularly strong or has been in there long enough. The lid would kind of be difficult to wash by hand with all the nooks and crannies. It's interesting to drink from, very long Lip until you get to the hole. It feels like the drink takes quite a while to come out - have to tip it back quite far - and that's even if you fill it all the way up. So you have wiggle room for spills.

Good solid leak proof travel mug
I'm starting to get a range of different drinking containers from Contigo as I'm finding them to be solid, well made, leak proof and stylish and this travel mug lives up to all those qualities. I ordered the Brown Sugar colour which is a sort of dark gold colour and looks very stylish, especially being stainless steel as it looks like a premium mug. I particularly like the snapseal feature which consists of a flip clasp on the lid which keeps the drinking hole closed and leak proof when snapped shut but only needs a slight flick of your thumb to release it enough to allow fluid to flow, a really nice novel design. The lid just screws off which allows for easy filling and cleaning. These mugs aren't cheap though and this one costs £17.49 at the time of review being 20% off, however if you want a quality well designed mug it's worth paying a bit extra. A really nice mug which I recommend highly.

Really well insulated! Very impressed..
This mug is fantastic, it keeps your drink warm for hours, so much so that I’m now making my drink at 80°c instead of boiling as it’s too hot to drink for ages! Hours in fact!It truly is leakproof as the seal on the snap seal lid is great. Being without a handle you can be left or right-handed and you don’t need to worry about aligning the sip position with a handle. It’s a great fit in my car cup holder but holders do vary significantly so may not fit all. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t seem to trap unwanted residue like others. It’s huge at 470ml at a maximum, I usually make 400ml coffee + milk which is a comfortable fit.The only possible negative is that it tends to make you slurp but only a minor detail. Otherwise I love this mug and would recommend to others without hesitation.

Perfect for the morning commute
I am very happy with this Contigo travel mug! First of all it looks fantastic, just a brushed steel body in an attractive colour that's labelled "brown sugar" but I would describe as pale bronze. No twee patterns or snappy sayings here (not knocking you if you like those, they're just not for me).The body is a nice cylindrical shape so it's easy to hand-wash (as recommended) provided you have a bottle brush; the lid being top-rack dishwasher safe is very helpful, as travel mug lids are often the hardest part to clean. It's definitely leakproof when closed (I've turned it outside down to test and not a drop has escaped), and the one-handed drinking function is very convenient. Though it took me a second to figure out you're meant to drink not from the snapseal, but from the hole it opens (opposite it on the lid).My commute is an hour and a half and my coffee was still perfectly warm by the time I got to the office. I haven't tried it with cold drinks yet, being that it's winter, but I have no doubts it will perform well for that, too!
