had to turn down diameter of rod in lathe to fit in threaded hole

Will buy genuine next time.
Diameter of the anode was too large to fit into the water heater, had to get them machined. Minor inconvenience as these aren’t available in Australia.

Won't fit 1/2" npt hole !!!! Don't purchase!!!
Rod would not fit through 1/2" NPT hole. Had to return.

Rod was to large didnt fit. Ended up cutting rod off and using as a plug
