Register Booster Fan for 4x12 inch Register Holes - White

Perfect pushing room to room. David Weekly homes are well built fantastic homes, however a 4500 Square foot home should not have a 2ft x 18in X 7ft pantry. I built a very nice add on pantry but no ventilation. I purchased this fan and did a cut out install from another large room with decorative cover on that room. NOW I have more than ample air being pulled into the new pantry. Easy install and LOVE the outcome.

This register fan is a huge improvement to the heating in my bedroom. My bedroom is above the garage and was an add on years after the house was built. The way that the previous owner had the duct-work built meant that the heat in the bedroom was never adequate. Due to the size and the design / location of the duct-work, there isn't enough room to add the booster fan as a direct insert to the duct. I manufactured a box to fit over the duct and mounted the fan to the box. I added a 45 degree angle so that the fan delivers the heat more centrally into the room. The room temp is about 4 degrees warmer than it was before the fan / box combination.

It’s helpful for boosting the airflow in our third floor vents. It’s not making an enormous difference but you can feel it if you are standing close by. At the price point it sells at I think you could get similar if not more effective results by using a large fan and setting it near your vent.

This is a great vent. It uses two built in fans and forces air into the room nicely. It gets slightly noisy at the highest blower setting

I bought two of these just over 1 year ago. They worked well but now one fan is making a horrible noise. There is no way to contact the manufacturer for service / warranty questions. No email no phone numbers. Very disappointing.

This little unit worked very well for the room upstairs, so we I bought two more for the remaining bedrooms on the second floor. We have been battling the climate change from the first to the second for years, from trying to decrease airflow on the main and hoping it would make a difference. But to no avail. Even considered a new air handler since this unit is well over 20 years old. Buying these air ducts probably saved us thousands. Now whenever we go upstairs, there is noticably no change in temp from the first to the second floor. Absolutely amazing and could not be happier. Don't know how long they'll last yet as they are brand new. But for this price, I think it's worth the investment. I've read good and bad reviews on just about every brand and took a chance on this purchase. Sometimes you win! I also emailed their customer service and they were very helpful and prompt with their response. This unit and company check all the boxes with regard to product and service. They are not loud at all, and on max fan speed they basically give off a bit of white noise, which my son actually appreciates for sleeping. Elated customer here!

The register booster from Biowind works great. I had tried two other register boosters from other companies. One they could not get it to work properly and the other one was too difficult to program. Biowind was easy to setup and worked properly, great product.

Is it possible that this made the situation worse? I have a room that doesn’t get much heat and I installed this. At lower fan speeds this doesn’t have any impact and speeds higher than five are too noisy. No matter what how it was set the temp in the room never increased much. Air flow wasn’t all that great. It did work in the sense that it turns on and off as expected, but for me this is just a white noise machine.
