The control of this is great, no slop in the controls, easy to rotate, and the handle feels sturdy, no loose wobbling.The install instructions were crappy, you'll be better off following advice from the online reviews here. For ex, they never instructed to use that little packet of grease/paste/lubricant stuff, so I didn't use it. Then it leaked. After reading more reviews, I realized I should apply that paste, and then the leak stopped. Such a critical step in the install, yet the instructions didn't mention it at all.I've owned it a year now, and the finish still looks fantastic.This is a high quality faucet.

This Grohflex pressure balance control is a complete package. Yes, the description mentions this, but some other 'handles' with trim don't. The product is very attractive, although the back plate is something that you have to decide that you want. The style may not match the look in your bathroom.It's a Grohe product, so the chrome looks great. It holds up well.The pressure control maintains water pressure, no matter which temperature you want it to be. Like most of the one handle shower (or shower/tub) mixers, you can't control how much pressure you get (sometimes you may want a strong blast of cold water to rinse your hair, for example), the Groheflex doesn't provide that capability.But compared to most other products that do a similar job, this one is a really good, very attractive, choice.

Nothing about this product feels like any corners were cut. It’s very heavy, seems well made, has large teeth/splines to ensure the handle fits precise and without wobble. I’ve taken as many photos as I felt gave you a good idea of the pieces included, I also assembled them and photographed the final product, which is massive and probably weighs about 7-8 pounds! I would have installed it in the wall however it arrived with a single plastic hot water setting ring in 2 pieces where it should have been a single ring (see photos). It was loose in shipping and apparently was hammered by the heavy mechanism in transit. I’ll contact the company for a replacement if I’m unable to epoxy it back together. Overall it’s a well made professional product with some weight to it. Parts fit together well, cartridge is massive and well made. Many brass parts here. Hope the photos help you in your decision! Please note that I always remove screens/filters at ports when installing these in an older homes with galvanized pipes. The pipes break down and clog screens/filters, the tiny pieces of debris can not flow through unless ports and spaces inside these mechanisms are large enough to allow rust and debris to pass through. These screens/filters you see installed in the photos, definitely do not allow debris flow, which causes low water pressure due to clogging. Newer fixtures such as these are best used in newer copper pipe homes. Thanks again... Cheers!

To use this, you'll need the Grohe Rough-in model 35-026, so make sure you are aware!The control module is a heavy duty piece of a equipment that will not let you down, in fact you could probably defend yourself with it if you had to.The chrome finish on this model does not disappoint as you can expect with any Grohe finish. It's a high quality kit!I'm using this in one of my homes for a single shower head. They make a dual control module that can be used to control both objects if you have a combo.The purpose of the pressure balancer is to equilibrate the water pressure over time so that you have a consistent experience. So, when someone flushes the toilet or runs the hot tap while you're in the shower, this will balance it out and keep it consistent!All Grohe valves of this caliber have built in stop valves so that you can turn it on and off and easily service it. This is GREAT as a homeowner, because often times I need to get in and tweak something and I dont want a giant mess when that happens. Plumbers will appreciate you.Grohe has really thought of everything with their temperature sway safety device, which protects you from huge variants in temperature. I don't know how they do it but I'm comfortable having my kids use this even with my water temperature turned up for the house.My house has high PSI that I had to step down with a PRV (pressure regulator valve) - but this can handle up to 150PSI. While my house runs about 80 PSI, I'm not worried about it!I would definitely recommend this chrome finish grohe flex control module for anyone looking to spruce up their home.
