The instructions were missing
There weren't any instructions but I have used them before. The others are out on the ground in the open so seem to be waterproof. I have located them with 6" of gravel below as I doubt they should allowed to be submerged

Not easy to connect/disconnect
The two parts of this connector are incredibly difficult to connect,requiring a LOT of force. It's not clear when the "auto locking mechanism" has engaged. Once connected, it's equally difficult to disconnect them. The whole point of using a connector like this rather than a conventional inline connector is to make it easy to connect and disconnect two wires, unfortunately this fails.
