These are not the oiled, salted seaweed you may be more used to. These are dry, unseasoned sheets. I use them to make seaweed rolls. I bought two 50-sheet packages, which is quite a bit. Per sheet, this is a good price because many nori packages only have 10 or so sheets. I can see why some may say it's better to buy the smaller packs if you don't eat these quickly enough because you want these to remain dry, instead of becoming a bit chewy over time. The package says to store in refrigerator upon opening - I'm still getting use to that part because considering how humid a refrigerator is, I was surprised by the direction. Maybe it's the anti-moisture packet inside each package, but I haven't had any issues with moisture of sogginess when I use it over few weeks. The sheets are packaged in zipper-closed bag, making storage a breeze. The price may seem high, but you get many sheets for that money. Check out the per-sheet price of other nori you see. If you want to eat these plain, like those individually packaged, salted, oily ones, you will be disappointed, but these can be healthy snacks for young kids who haven't been exposed to the other kind - be sure to cut them into smaller pieces; you can crease/fold to break them.

The two pack at fifty sheets each is a a great bargain for organic nori sheets. We tend you use them in creating wraps in multiethnic culinary adventures. Put one sheet on dinner sized plate, to which we add some sushi rice, then top with various meats and veggies, then a sauce of some sort, Thai peanut often being one of choice, or toasted sesame oil. By now it's a bit big to roll in one sheet, so we put another one underneath and roll together making a delicious and tasty wrap, without the calories or carbs of bread-based wraps. Yummy! :)
