These tasted so good I was gonna give them to a friend but they were so good I kept them I did give him a couple he loved them to!

I received these truffles at Christmas and was delighted; someone knows my weakness for dark chocolate truffles. They looked all right when I unwrapped them, but when I bit them open, the chocolate was grayish and didn't look fresh. They also didn't taste freshly made. I ate them anyway because they are truffles and it would be criminal to throw out truffles imperfect or not.

I just received these today and had to hurry and order another box. The chocolate shell is buttery and smooth with no bitterness or waxy quality. The filling is just as satisfying. These treats are rich which is to say, sweet but decadent. You will probably feel satisfied after two or three. I come from a family that consumes a lot of chocolate over the holidays. These chocolates come individually wrapped in a foil cellophane that makes repackaging for gift giving a breeze. A new favorite has been discovered. Yum!

The box came with one side of the top opened with a chocolate wrapper peeping out. Looks like it was opened purposely and not due to crushed box area. I was suspicious. On the box it say 3 in one serving and a total of 5 servings in a box. When I completely opened the box, there was only 14. So, obviously one was missing. I'm thinking that a worker wanted to try one to taste before packaging it with the other items in the box. If it fell out, it would still be in the big box with the others. Plus, the opening was too small to for the chocolate to fall out, but big enough to pull one out.Now to the chocolate review...I was expecting a more liquid caramel center, but it was a little more dense. It blended in with the chocolate so I can't really say the caramel flavor stood out. Overall it was not overly sweet, which is a great thing, and soft. I would recommend and buy again.

I ordered this item because I was given one and it was scrumptious…chocolate on the outside and caramel filling. I ordered 2 boxes and was excited when they came in…I tasted one and it was totally disappointing…chocolate on the outside and milk chocolate on the inside…😠

Yum!!
