Work well and clean well as it is supposed to be

I purchased this Seventh Generation Auto Dish Gel - 42 oz - Free & Clear because it is septic safe and had mostly good reviews on the internet. My habit is to rinse all dishes before I put them in the Bosch dishwasher to get rid of loose food (not good for the septic system) and hard stuck on foods like dried egg yolk (I don't expect any dishwasher detergent to be able to clean off dried egg yolk). So far all of the dishes come out clean. I will purchase this product again.

For years I used the same (famous C) brand dishwashing liquid, purchased at the grocery store and was happy with the results.However, this product surpasses that. Was not expecting to like it. Never prejudge!It leaves my dishwaser shiny at the same time it sparkles the dishes. Beautiful! This product is a keeper.

I love the smell of liquid versus the tablets

Used Cascade for years. Other "natural" detergents never worked well and my husband would get frustrated with them, so we had basically given in to using Cascade forever. That is until I found this product. We were completely out of detergent and I was at Whole Foods, didn't want to make an extra trip to Safeway, so I decided to give this a try. My husband and I were shocked to find it cleaned as well, if not better than, Cascade. Why would we go back to products that are potentially damaging to the environment when there is one that is more natural and works just as well? Great price here with Amazon Pantry too!

This is so much better than the cascade we were using. The dishes do not have that strong fragrance smell to them.

When the little door on our dishwasher began to malfunction and not pop out the little dishwasher pods properly, rather than paying a huge repair price I switched to liquid -- and the little door thingy likes it better than the pods.I have used other products by Seventh Generation so decided to try the dishwasher liquid. And it is fantastic! Cleans our dishes, pots, pans, glasses, flatware, as good or better than our previous one, Cascade. And it has been cost effective to purchase it on Amazon.
