Remove the film from backing paper or release liner, a paper or plastic-based film sheet (usually applied during the manufacturing process) (Please MAKE SURE you have removed it before you apply the window film to glass. It may be a little tricky to remove at first, but be assured there is a backing paper or release liner on all window films. Apply the film facing the backing to the inside of glass window.Step 6. Spray water on the applied film.Step 7. Apply the backing to the film, squeegee away water & air bubbles, and remove the backing, this way, the film will not be easily scratched.Step 8. Clean with a rag.Step 9. It comes off cleanly without leaving residue.2> When not in use, the film must be replaced and stored on the original backing paper. The side of the film that touched the glass should face the glossy side of the backing paper.3> Our film does not apply to carved, over frosted or irregular glass.

For privacy or just because your windows will look pretty
At first I thought this was going to be difficult to put up when I first looked at it. But it was so simple, quick, easy and effective.Make sure that the window/surface you are putting this on is clean, thoroughly clean, so after washing my window I used an alcohol based wipe to make sure of any grease or grime. That was just a precaution on my side.Spray on some water, lots of it, soapy water is probably best I found, the more water sprayed on the window the better.Remove the static peel from the back of the sheet. Apply this on your wet window.I measured my window with a little over hang then I used a flat card to smooth it out, but you can use your hands, I found it was better to use one of my husbands library cards or piece of flat plastic and gently smooth out to each side., Then with a stanley knife cut around the surplus.Always use this on flat panes of glass, it doesn't work over bumpy glass. If at any time you wish to remove this, its easy, just grab a corner and peel away.Who would have thought something that looked difficult to do would be fun and easy.It made a big different to my back door. There are lots of ways you can use this to gain some privacy from prying neighbours. Or just decorative because you want to have nice pretty frosty windows.I was sent this to test and evaluate and I can honestly say I have never used anything like this before and I am impressed.Very well made, doesn't split, isn't flimsy and doesn't tare.I hope the images are of some help.If I have been helpful at all please click the helpful button it means a lot to me as I like to make sure my reviews are helping potential buyers.

Excellent - super easy to put onto the window
Excellent - super easy to put onto the window, just cut. spray and squeegee. I put it on some windows in a rented home. After 3 years living there, I just pulled them off easily and layered them together and brought them to the new house where I reused them onto some other bathroom windows. Same process going on and they worked just as well to my surprise. This is my second set for some additional rooms and I am pleased with the purchase. This pattern is nice as it's not too opaque and the squares seem to light up as the sun hits it so it looks good. We used it in our new house in the bathroom and bedroom (faces the street) for light to come in but still remaining private. Highly recommend if you want a non-adhesive, easy to stick on solution.

Not quite the quality I had expected.
The film had quite a lot of scratches already on it out of the packet. I had expected a better quality product. Quite fiddly to install and you never get all the bubbles out. Final appearance through the film is quite warped. static adhesion is great. Certainly no problems with it staying on the glass. I used deionised water to apply the film to the glass. Reflects the heat and is 100% mirrored during the day. semi-opaque at night. Wouldn't recommend using a standard card to squeegee the bubbles out, there are professional applicators which would be better. Glass gets quite hot to touch during the day.

This works! Try it!
This was bought to go up at the kitchen window that is in the full sun from late afternoon to late evening. We do not have a blind or curtains up at the window as we like the light to come in. We tried this to stop the glare from the sun and it works. We can still see out but it does block a lot of the suns rays. We used 1 roll for one window and have bought another roll for next summer. This has been up at the window for about a month now and it hasn't started to peel off at all. Very pleased with the results.

I needed some privacy on some French doors and this ...
I needed some privacy on some French doors and this worked perfectly. I took off a star because although the picture shows the stripes on the horizontal they come in a roll with the stripes in the vertical. I thought they would fit perfectly on my 4 x 60cm wide windows as 50cm lengths but I had to use off cuts to do this.

Does the job well.
Needed to block direct sunlight from a windows that I was working at and it does the job well. Good quality, bit fiddly to put up, but that is not the fault of the product, - probably the sort of thing you need a bit of practice to do well. No instructions, - but you can look it up on a well known video hosting website.

Good product be aware that it does not give total privacy
Got this as I am fed up with my dog keep barking at the window so wanted something to obscure the view. This turned out NOT to be suitable as it is on;y 'semi-private' and you can still see though it My fault as I didn't read the description closely. However I have used it in the bathroom and it went on reasonable easily (just need plenty of time and patience) No need for anything special to put it up. I used a microfibre cloth and a credit card to smooth out. Over all a good product.

Great item ... Not intended for rooms needing privacy
Great seller communicationInstalling needs care but straightforwardEasy to remove without damaging windowNote the stripes give no privacy at all as you can clearly see behind them ... But the other frosted ones are great for privacy while allowing light to enter rooms
