This a beautiful book, full of beautiful pictures of American wristwatch designs from the 1900s through the 1960s. Each picture includes detailed information about the maker, date, case metal, and number of jewels the watch contains. I collect Bulova watches and was very disappointed by the number of errors I found. For example, I own the Bulova watch with fan-shaped lugs featured on the back cover. It's discussed twice in the book, once as an example of 1930s design, and later as an example of 1950s design. In fact the watch was only made in the 1960s. Enjoy the lovely pictures, take the info with a grain of salt.

Great book, great photos, concise history and valuable pricelist for vintage American wristwatches. I lost my first book in a flood and was lucky to find this again. It's the first resource I go to for info on the most valuable, rare and common watches made by some of the best-known American manufacturers. A must for any serious collector.

great book for watch enthus. lots of great pictures, would like to have seen price estimates of watches, non exist in the book.
