Awesome stuff
I really like this, I’m new to sculpting , and I’m learning how to use monster clay. I want to sell my art , so I make a mold of it and then cast it with Sculptamold. This works great ! Very easy, and it cured/hardens quick like the box says 30 minutes , it’s super sticky though I wasn’t wearing gloves so it got all over my hands , but I just let it dried and then peeled it off. I Ofcourse wish it came in a bigger size that wouldn’t break the bank for me ! The mold comes out bendable rubber which is fun because I’m sure it should last , and I just need to make a 1 side mold because I’m gluing the smooth side to a canvas .

Makes about 20oz of silicone, AMAZING PRODUCT
I LOVE this product! I've used it multiple times. Dries within 30 minutes, has about 5 minutes of working time. Will need 2 Kits for larger pieces. It makes about 20-25oz of silicone. CAN be layered, I had a huge piece to mold and didn't have enough to cover the top so waited about a month to finish the process and it still came out perfectly. I mix mica pigment into part A to make custom colors as well, always cured perfectly. Very durable mold. Great for resin crafts.Only problem I have is that it may have too many bubbles for someone's liking. The mold is always perfect but can look a little bubbly.

Suitable for molds and rubber casts
I got this first to make a mold for a small sculpture I made in plasticine clay. I used about 2/3 of the product on that two part mold, and I got great results. I then used the rest to make several smaller molds for resin casting various trinkets. I used the last of it to cast rubber feet for a vibration table, which also worked great. Since it's transparent, you can add color to it and use it to cast rubber items.I did have a problem where I tried to use some resin dye to color a batch I used for three smaller molds. Something in the dye prevented it from setting up, and it stayed a viscous goo for days before I finally cleaned off my positives and tried again. I confirmed it was the resin dye by adding it to half of a tiny batch. My recommendation is to use powdered pigments like chalk pastel or mica powder, or to test a small amount first before mixing up a full batch.

Works very awesome
I like the product it is easy to use found out I do have to make separate batches so I can do a few different colors if I'm making adult products but does take to mica well me and my wife thought it was cool how it hardened quickly she did leave her hand in the rest of what we didn't use and she said it felt good on my hand i didn't mix some of the Mica well that's my fault but turned out amazing even funnier I 3d printed the mould for the product and it did well

Works great to capture detail, cures fast, degassing not required!
I have been making epoxy resin ear plugs/gauges and other custom jewelry from items printed on our UV resin DLP printer at work. The Mold Star 20T cures fast and despite retaining some bubbles they never seem to be on the surface of the part, only in the bulk of the material. All of our 3D printed parts are coated with XTC-3D to give them a shiny coating which is picked up perfectly in the silicone mold. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the price - I would love to buy a larger quantity but this stuff goes bad quick once opened and most of the molds I make are tiny (around 50ml of silicone) so I don't go through it very quickly. In addition to the 2 gallon size I wish they offered a bulk pack of smaller jars like these so it wouldn't go bad but I could save some money on buying the small quantities repeatedly.

Definitely recommend!
This mold material is amazing! I've been using alumilite silicone mold to make my molds and it works well but hasn't seemed to hold up as well to multiple uses. I decided to try this material instead. SUPER easy to make the molds and the set up time is so fast! In less than an hour you've got usable molds. I've only had a few areas in molds that didn't set up completely but I believe it was due to debris being on the container for the mold and it hasn't affected how well the mold works. I do find that the set up time of the easy cast resin is a little bit longer when using these molds but the de molding process is much easier and cleaner with these molds than the previous ones. I've already used my full first batch and made about 25-30+ smaller molds for numerous casting purposes. Definitely recommend this product for both beginners and experienced mold makers. The material being some cloudy clear is a big help too because you can see how filled in your casting is or where the colors are going if you use pigments like I do

Works great with mica colourants
I really love this stuff. I make adult toys with it and it takes mica powder so beautifully. I've had 0 complaints about the quality and performance so far. I can add glow in the dark powder to it and it doesn't react to it AT ALL and performs as it should. I did have a problem with it peeling and not properly bonding to previously poured silicone (bout 10 mins before, it wasn't fully set yet) so I poured a thicker layer over it and it solved the issue. So really I have no problems with it that I didn't cause lolIf you're wondering what colourants I use cosmetic grade mica powders from justpigments. Haven't had a issue with curing so far.

Mixed media use and didn’t fail my needs...
I used this for my mixed media needs. I previously was using the smooth on 30, and for starting out this was great. So I wanted to try a faster setting medium. Both mediums are clear, so when trying to see if you are fully mixed can make it difficult. I have everything set up like an assembly line, set a timer and scrap sides and bottom while mixing vigorously (about 30-45 sec dep. on amount). When pouring I noticed many bubbles and was concerned it would change the outcome of my mold. With that in mind, I made sure to drop the mold several times to get the bubbles to raise to the surface. Much like when you try to get the bubbles out of cake batter before baking. Though the media’s are clear it casts a opaque clear color , not fully white. It took about 4 hours for my large mold to set. I use air drying paper clay, so prior to casting I dusted it with cornstarch for easy removal. I loved it so much I’m ordering more. I only wish Amazon Prime had the Gallon size option.
