A lovely thick, creamy custard.
A lovely thick custard.This is the ordinary, full sugar variety, although the sugar content isn't that high.At 10.6% sugar it is less than I would have expected.Sugar is Amber on the traffic light system, with fat (2.9%) and salt (a trace) content being green.It is mainly made from milk (75%). Although it does contain palm oil.Taste wise it's lovely. Thick and creamy with a hint of vanilla.Absolutely lovely on a hot apple pie.Why bother with the effort of making your own custard from powder, when this is available?Absolutely delicious.I hope you found this review helpful.

Arrived on time. A product regularly buy. Usually happy with content and taste. Hopefully this purchase will live up to same expectation as bought to replenish cupboard and so have not used yet.

It’s custard. It’s yellow and tastes of custard. It’s nice if you like custard..
My kids love this stuff.. I only buy it for them.. However I might sometimes have some. Just one or two cans a day.. unless it’s a weekend of course.

Yummy custard, and just as nice from a tin as it is from a carton. Ambrosia custard is delicious both cold or warmed up; and is great with a range of desserts, from fruit to crumble.

Cooking Instructions - General - Taste delicious hot or cold... Microwave - From Ambient - 1. Empty contents into a suitable microwaveable container. 2. Cover and heat on full power for 2 minutes stirring halfway through heating time (800 watt/Cat E microwave). After heating please handle with care. All microwave ovens vary, amend cooking times accordingly. Hob - From Ambient - To enjoy hot: 1. Empty contents into a saucepan. 2. Heat gently, stirring frequently, do not boil.
