Fantastic for my mini-project!
The media could not be loaded. ย First of all, I hardly ever write a review or leave feedback, but wow this product is QUITE AMAZING. Me as an IT professional normally go for very sophisticated configurations when selecting products. The current idea is to use this wireless hdmi transmitter/receiver with VM+GPGPU to provide my kids with a extra computer.Test Configuration:[Receiving Hardware]BenQ GW2780 27 Inch IPS 1080p HDMI Monitor w/ SpeakersOREI Wireless HDMI Transmitter Receiver Extender 1080P Kit with IR RemoteIBRA Orange HDMI Cable 3ft - UHD HDMI 2.0 (4K@60Hz) Ready -18Gbps-28AWGLogitech MK345 Wireless Combo โ Full-sized Keyboard with Palm Rest and Comfortable Right-Handed MouseConfiguration:[Test Source System]CPU: AMD ThreadRipper 1950XRAM: G.Skill 128GB DDR4 @2933MhzGPU: MSI Radeon RX Vega 64 - Driver 18.9.3NVMe: 2 x Samsung 960 PRO 1 TBSoftware: VMWare Workstation 15 Pro - Windows 10 NVMe Guest OS*UPDATE*Configuration:[Source System]QNAP TVS-1282 4.3.5.xGPGPU: GeForce GTX 1060 SCVirtualization: Windows 10 1809So since my QNAP is not here, I decided to test with my workstation machine just to see how well the OREI RX/TX worked for 1080p source/destination. As you can see from the screenshots attached, there's no more then 7ft between the source/destination, originally I tried putting it in a different area, but due to line of sight issues with my computer, the logitech keyboard/mouse input was very laggy, and the hdmi receiver dropped once, but that was due to moving the equipment around. But anyways, there was/is no latency from the video source and it successfully passes audio through the VM to the monitor with no latency. But wait, even better, the VM is running on the BenQ monitor as an extended screen from my workstation, so this is twice as intensive for image processing on the OREI. Just WOW, other then the lackluster Logitech MK345 distance/input, even had to use an ASUS USB extender I found for the USB receiver to get a good input signal.Uploaded a 4K 15 second video running on the VM playing a youtube video with audio. Will update once I get my QNAP back, and test a full blown DirectX game setup with the GeForce 1050 TI in passthrough, I hope others find this useful, as I was unsure of the power of this device due to the NAS/PC-to-VM requirements.*UPDATE*Received my QNAP back, unfortunately the signal strength is not powerful enough to keep up with a GPU real-time processing. Even on the desktop, there's a lot of latency from the keyboard and mouse that i originally thought was passthru issues with the QNAP, but turns out wasted alot of money on different devices trying to improve the latency quality. overall the product is solid, although it can have heating issues. it is listed for extending your TV and not PC gaming, so wont knock a star off. testing with a 35ft displayport cable to confirm the latency issue.

Worked well wirelessly through thick adobe walls for long distance
I have attempted to view AV in my bedroom (for lazy Sunday mornings) from my living room systems with varying success (mostly unsatisfactory). The distance between the far bedroom wall to the center of the living room, where the components are located, is about 45', and there are three very thick, old adobe walls in that path. (One of those walls is 2' 4" thick!) So, most wireless devices I attempted to use didn't work and the two that did only worked if I utilized inconvenient workarounds and the video left much to be desired. The OREI Wireless HDMI Transmitter Receiver Extender 1080P Kit has provided the best result by far. The video is very good and stable, and the audio is perfect. The one issue I encountered is the short cable on the IR receiver. To obtain a good wireless HDMI AV transmission, I placed the transmitter high up on the wall behind the system components. The IR receiver cable wonโt reach any of the system components from that distance. I attempted to use stereo and mono AV extension cords, but without success. I purchased the 10โ long TNP IR Emitter Extender Extension Cable and it did the job perfectly, allowing for control of two systems, which was an added benefit.

WARNING!!!! NO LOOP OUT
First let me say, I tested this by itself from a Directv HR54 to a remote TV in my kitchen, and it worked perfect. BUT... when I went to hook it up in final environment, I found that there was NO LOOP OUT as indicated in the diagram above. I ended up having to purchase OREI V1.4 splitter to complete my set up. It supports a single HDMI in at the transmitter, and a single HDMI out at the receiver. This will not act as a splitter by itself. I almost returned the whole thing, but it worked so well, I decided to spent the extra $18 for the splitter.

Perfect picture with impossibly easy setup
This product is a must for anyone who wants instant, high quality wireless HDMI. I could not believe how easy it was to get started. There is absolutely nothing to install. Just plug and play, and it works. I'm using this to connect a computer to a flat screen TV and it saved me from buying three different connection devices, none of which work as well as this.

I really wanted it to work.
I connected the devices as outlined in the instructions. All of the lights indicated that it was working. But no signal was getting through the HDMI. I tested both HDMI cables by connecting directly from source to my TV. The cables were fine. I also tried with cable box and Roku. Nothing would work. The transmitter and receiver were about 8 feet apart and in line-of-site of each other when I was testing. When I first opened the box, I noticed that it was ripped slightly near one of the cardboard lock tabs. I am wondering if this was a defective return that was re-shipped to me? Anyway - it was pretty annoying to be in the middle of this project and then have to tear everything back apart because these were not working. I ended up just running a cable. Lesson learned.

Stable, Fast, Easy
We purchased these to transmit an uninterrupted HDMI stream from the back of a 50ftx50ft room with about 150 adults in the audience. Since implementing, we haven't had a single drop or issue. I can't say enough good things about how impressed I am with this setup. We searched long and hard to find the right piece of equipment. This is it for us.

Works as expected
Unit works as intended for my use. Transmitter and receiver are approximately 20ft apart from one another and I don't have any issues with interference or signal loss. Found the unit helpful for displaying cable/firestick signal in 2 locations (living room/ kitchen) at the same time.
