It’s amazing refreshing to read and get personal insights on character and approaches, cultivating virtues. There is a lot of food for thought. A definite must read!

Wonderful words of wisfdom
Everyone can benefit from this book which was written so long ago but is as relevant today as obviously it was back then. Human behaviour has not changed at all.

A mind-expanding influx of ancient wisdom
This timeless practical guide to living a good life demonstrates how the realms of philosophy and spirituality overlap. It's like a book of proverbs. The meditations really make you think. They resonated with me currently, while highlighting many of the errors of my youth.I found grounding in having studied Hermeticism and philosophy, while often puzzled about how academic philosophers seemed puzzled by Hermeticism. Understanding these meditations, I now understand that they know the principles, but simply haven't dived so deeply into the abyss. The book begins with introductions to Marcus Aurelius' life, Stoic philosophy, and the significance of the Meditations. The author's annotations add depth to this guided tour of the mindscape of the renowned philosopher/emperor.This material could be categorized as philosophy, spirituality, psychology, and self-help. It inspires and motivates with a steady stream of wisdom that could be read through like a book or meditated on piecemeal for years. The profound wisdom in these meditations makes this book a must-read for anyone.

"The soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts."
Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, the last of the Five Good Emperors, wrote Meditations two thousand years ago; today, like a light that time cannot dim, his quiet words of wisdom continue to illuminate the world. I’m jealous of anyone reading this book for the first time, for it is an experience beyond measure.

Fascinating read!
For those who are ancient history buffs, this delves into the mind and thoughts of Marcus Aurelius. Surprisingly, some of what he says is still pertinent today! Very good read.

Definitely Insightful
Although a powerhouse of prose and an offering of "soul food," my main source of treasured advise and knowledge is from the Christian Bible. Having read works by the great philosophers, there are absolutely those imparted considerations and there are many aspects of esoteric knowledge given. But many of them did not resonate with me. As nothing is perfect, this undertaking surely made a great effort toward delivering wisdom with perfection.
