...or if it is aged, it was in a vacuum pack, where it couldn't actually age. It doesn't have any appreciable roast that would improve after resting, nor oxidation to keep it interesting. Mostly, this just tastes like a fairly green dong ding (tung ting) that is going stale.I have quite a bit of experience with aged wulong; I am familiar with the different ways that wulong can age, depending on how it's stored, and what makes any of those different types of aged wulong good (or not). I've even aged a few myself. I can not recommend this tea. (I only mention this because you sometimes see reviews like this for good teas because someone just didn't know what to expect.)

I ordered the wrong thing. I tried green Oolong tea a few times and was looking for the kind that is actually emerald green when steeped. Though I enjoy the taste, it wasn't my best purchase. But, as I stated I ordered the wrong thing.

I love the delicate flavor. Just what I wanted.
