PoE Texas POE-IO-21 | Passive PoE Injector/Splitter Kit with 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC Connector and 10/100 Ethernet - Extend PoE Over Ethernet to DC Devices

This is a great little breakout connector. It lets you send power to a device over the cat5 cable. It works great with 12 volts or greater devices. But I would avoid using it with 5 volt cameras or devices, unless it is a very short distance. 5 volts doesn't have the ability to push the current very far over the 24 gauge connectors of a cat5 cable.

Apparently you can't use just one portion of this kit as a splitter. Will not power my Foscam 18910 from a POE router. In fact, it doesn't even fit the DCV in--I had to cannibalize a power supply just to get the correct plug. Looks like it isn't a low cost alternative to Foscam's POE splitter-very disappointing. Would not buy again, would not recommend to a friend.

Slow charge, but it gets the job done

Received on time and as promised. Worked well with X-10's XX60 PTZ outdoor camera.

This did not work for 5 volt foscam camera. 25feet was just too much IR lossI must say that the connector to two pieces of 10feet and the 15feet cable did not help
