The Dollmaker (Forgotten Files Book 2)

This is the second book I've read and its a great read like the first great characters and a chilling story-line I've had some late nights reading this plenty of action and although I guessed the culprit I wasn't 100%until the last few chapters loved the ending and look forward to her next book she's certainly not disappointing

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in two days. Mary Burton is one of my favourite authors and never disappoints.

Another good read. I enjoyed Dakota’s and Tessa’s book and the investigation into finding out who the creepy dollmaker was.

I read this book on Christmas morning and was glad I did. It was such a thrilling read with amazing characters. The twists and turns were outstanding. The ending was just wow!!

The Dollmaker is the first book I've read by Mary Burton, and it's also one of few romantic suspense that has worked for me. Sure, the story was a bit predictable not that hard to figure out who the bad guy was, but I liked the main characters and it was most of the time entertaining to read and I wouldn't mind reading the first book in this series!I chose to read this ARC and all opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased!

Dialogue is this book's forte. I found my voice in the first few pages. I saw the characters vividly. I hurt when they hurt, bled when they bled, etc. I like how it segways from the last book and personas journey from minor to major roles in this little imagined area of Virginia. This dolly book is well balanced and does not have to link arms with those books either side of it.

Wow. What a great read. This story is very well written. It kept me guessing until the end. There were several suspects that it could have been. I was not expecting the ending.

This was a weird, creepy and suspenseful book. I liked the characters and the storyline was good. I did figure it out well before the end, but still enjoyed getting to the end.

I read three of the books in this series (Forgotten Files) and they were all pretty exciting and very well written.This book is about a killer who tattoos his victims to make them look like Victorian dolls. Spooky.All three books have a young and attractive heroine, who is pretty smart, falls in love with someone involved in the case (although she doesn't really want to) and after a hair-raising final scene where the young and attractive heroine nearly becomes a victim herself, there is a happy ending. Recommended.
