Works just fine. 1 came completely flat but did expand after soaking
I was afraid when I saw one came completely flat that it wouldn't expand. I waited a day and it still hadn't expanded so I soaked it in water and it plumped right up. It should work well in my studio in a small gap between acoustic panels and it was much cheaper than other alternatives.

They do their job
The PHITTIS 18 Pack Self-Adhesive Sound Proof Foam Panels exceeded my expectations in transforming my home studio's acoustics. The 12 X 12 X 0.4 inches dimensions are ideal, offering substantial coverage without overwhelming the space. The self-adhesive feature made installation a breeze, saving time and effort. The black color not only complements any decor but also adds a sleek touch to my studio environment. The high-density composition of these acoustic panels effectively absorbs and dampens sound, resulting in a noticeable reduction in echoes and background noise.

great !
Know that you cannot efficiently soundproof a room by sticking things on the walls. It says sound absorption and what that means is they will stop sound from bouncing around the room. Basically catch it instead of letting it bounce and echo. It will however give you the perception of a quieter room.Tested in a closet room used for recording and does what it needs to. You do not need to cover the entire room but the more you have the more it will do. This can be achieved with almost any soft and dense material but it's easier and usually a lot more visually appealing to use sound panels. These actually look very nice, normally you'll see panels that are just plain square with ridges that more or less look like packing foam, but this actually looks really nice. The irregular triangular patterns help them look a bit less like foam on the wall.I'm not sure how the adhesive is, but usually you'll want to use your own. They can fall off easily depending on several factors including humidity, temperature, wall vibration etc. so we just used an industrial adhesive made for applying sound panels.Overall very good for the price and a lot nicer than most. There are fancier looking ones but these are great if it's the look you are going for. Will update if any issues appear later.

Great product for specific applications where reducing sound reflection is needed
These look appealing to the eye with their geometric design and all the tiles were manufactured well. I could not find any defects on any of the tiles. The adhesive is strong enough to hold their own weight when stuck onto a clean surface. I measured the thickness on several tiles and they were right around 5/16” or 8mm, so a little bit less than the stated thickness of 0.4” (roughly 10mm) by around 2mm.These will assist in reducing sound reflections and deaden the area. By that I mean adding these to a wall or other hard surface they will effectively catch some of the sound wave and prevent it from being reflected around the room and back to your ears. I would imagine for these to have any great impact in a room you will need a few boxes. My specific usage of these and where I think their application shines. My home office is an average medium to small bedroom. It has vaulted ceilings that caused a ton of echoes when on the phone. I added 40sq ft of 4” high density sound wedges around the upper walls, which mostly eliminated the echo. The areas that I couldn’t deaden with the 4” wedges were the main entry door and the sliding closet doors. That is where this product is a great option to use. (see picture of 4” wedge vs this product for comparison)With the box I received for review I used the majority of it on my main entry door. I tested talking in front of the door before I added the tiles and after. The after result was very good and the volume of my voice I heard reflected back was greatly reduced. I will most likely grab a few more boxes and do the same for the sliding closet doors since they are thin enough to still allow the doors to slide behind each other.Overall, I think this is a good product for specific purposes. While I don’t think you should expect a single box of these to quiet down a room, I do think you can expect for specific problem areas where sound reflections are bad that these will help reduce them.

Affordable Sound Absorbing Tiles
I converted a small room into a podcast recording studio and needed to deaden the sound just a bit. I also had a pretty tight budget. There are just enough tiles in a box (18 square feet) to create a decent small zone in the corner of the room for recording. I like the pattern on the tiles as is (they are pretty thin compared to other acoustic tiles), although if you're ambitious, you can cut them up and create your own geometric pattern. The look is attractive, the pricing is good, and they work sufficiently to hold down aural artifacts while recording. I give them four stars over all.

Sticky Back!
I like the tiles with the sticky already on them. That makes installation much easier. These have a nice dense fiber that will help soften up a hard room.

Soundproofing the Loud Generator
Every time I find something to order for my husband, it always turns into work, but the work that my husband does makes our lives easier. This is a great sticky set for soundproofing our small generator shed that my husband built from scratch. I waited for a scheduled power outage to do this review right, and I only had to wait about eight hours for just such an event (we live in rural America and having power can tend to be tough). My husband stuck the panels around the interior of the shed yesterday, and he reports that they stick nicely, they are easy to trim if needed, and the really do make a difference as the generator going is loud and is directly next to our bedroom, and it was much quieter. The panels are thick and spongy as though to absorb the blaring noise better, and it is a gem to have the generator going now, even though it isn't much of a gem to need the generator at all, but having this product makes it nicer!
