It's a great book loads of interesting information

I remember this period of racing having spectated at most of the racing circuits mentioned. It certainly brought back great memories and being a friend of Phil Read(was his bank manager for five years) it is great to see images and mentions of him. Well worth adding to your bookshelf if racing from this period is your thing. Highly recommended.

I'm not sure so far.. I haven't yet finished it.It has been written in a rather dry style and is not as well illustrated as I would have hoped for, given that there is a huge archive of period photo's available. I knew in period many of the principal characters in the book and I am looking forward to enjoying it.WF

A really nice book written by someone who knows his subject and has a clear love of bike's. From my point of view I have an interest but no deep knowledge of the subject but I am enjoying dipping in to it and picking up different stories.

A lot of information about the teams and bikes.
