Works fine w iPhone X
I bought a couple of other adapters, none passed the dreaded “this is not an apple approved accessory” test. Thus one did,ni use it to split in my car and to walk around with using my wired bose headphones. Volume control and pause works, for those wondering about sound quality - I’d suggest using a high quality adapter cord - the cheap ones don’t have shielding and the HF bleed will ruin your in car audio quality. Ironic though. Me suggesting a higher cost solution when I bought thus because it was lower cost. 🤪

iPhone 7
It worked great for about a month and now it’s Static and can barely hear the music coming out of the iPhone when riding in the car to listen. Changed cords and had the aux checked it’s been this device but it does work.

It works
I’ve had this adapter for almost three weeks. I use it in my car, not for headphones. It’s worked fine so far, the only problem is it’s sound quality. It definitely isn’t high sound quality.

Buy a more expensive model if these issues annoy you.
Hard to keep connected at times, and strange noises all the time. I have all my sounds turned off but still get beeps and clicks

It’s not the best
Well, for the first week, this converter worked but after that the connection started to go bad. While playing music, my phone switching the music and sometimes it stopped by itself. You cannot talk with this converter on the phone or change the music from your headphone click. I think, this product affected my Iphone entrance

Conversion isn't just for religion
Bought a less expensive adapter for my Bose wired headphones and iPhone X and it was terrible! This adapter works perfectly. It not only connects, but the volume control works with Bose Quiet Comfort 25 as well as Siri blah blah blah. Hopefully will last. Hurray!!Update: 8.1.18 ,,, the jack connection is beginning to intermittently fail. SO disappointed. Will attempt to replace. Maybe I just got a lemon?

Works very good but the cable is too thin, so I think it will not be too durable.

Buzzes when connected to power
Product worked fine when only connected to audio, but when charging cable was connected it buzzed.
