I am using this clip for a wireless microphone transmitter so I can hook it onto my pocket/belt. This clip is the perfect size for my needs. I was pleased to see the inclusion of alcohol wipes and 3 adhesive mounting strips from 3M! Install is straightforward...wipe down the routing surfaces with alcohol, allow alcohol to evaporate, peel away tape from one side of mounting strip, adhere firmly to the clip, peel away other side of tape, firmly press clip to other mounting surface.This clip is all metal and feels very strong for the types of items that you may use for a clip this size. It appears to be black painted metal.
