Really slow! can't even get it to log in!

I am strictly using this laptop for work purposes. It runs fine with all the basic Windows features, slideshows, documents, videos, etc. This laptop is probably not useful for a PC gamer other than a few basic games, but that is not the intention.

My last Acer is still running after 8 years. I thought it was time for an upgrade, so I bought another Acer. I am very happy with this laptop! It's thinner than my last Acer, which is ver nice. It came with stock with everything I'm used to. I plan on having this computer for a long time. And it was such a deal (I bought a used one for $189.00 and it looks brand new).

Switched from MacBook to this computer because phone was android and they would not sync well. This computer is much harder to operate than MacBook. It will take some time that I don't have to spare just to figure out simple tasks.
