Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 19

Now Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the first Manga/Animes i got into, and the Anime was fantastic, but when i started reading the Manga i was completely shocked by the different story line, its so much better more original and deep then the Anime. Every volume has just got better and better, but this volume has got to be the best yet.In this volume you will find out about Ed and Als immortal fathers origin, and its such a great story line, You will be shocked, stunned and extremely eager to read the rest. Not only is this volume a great shock, but it follows the incredible story line you love. You wont be disappointed with this volume, it will make you beg for the release of volume 20. Buy it. There is no other option for a Fullmetal Alchemist fan. If you are just a fan of the Anime, then jump ship now, i started with the Anime and as a result it got better for me, if you start with the Manga and go to the Anime the difference will be a big shock and possible a let down, but if your just a Manga fan then do not worry.This is by far one of the best and most original Manga story lines around and will be for a long time to come, This volume is the best so far, and i really recommend it. so many things that have been revealed. Finally the mystery around the Homunculus and seven sins are explained. Also the secret regarding the Elric brother's father Van Hoenheim is out of the bag.

In this volume we learn a litte more about Ed and Al's dad, Hohienhiem.Although this volume may appear to digress a little too much, I urge you to read and look at every detail in this volume with the flashback to Xerxes and how Father was created - it is vitally important for the final chapters of the series!This volume is enjoyable and as always, Arakawa's artwork is beautiful and dramatic. This is a volume you may have to refer back to once you start finishing the manga to understand some things which are going on...

unfortunately the books were stolen from a library and were in bad shape , with torn leaves.

My son loves these books, and being able to buy them like this makes a huge difference. Very happy.
