Good product from a great company (HeltonToolandHome)
Very pleased with this purchase from HeltonToolandHome. The quick change router template guide made by Bosch was good quality and functions perfectly, as expected. But I was particularly pleased with the rapid delivery, excellent packaging, and low price from the vendor, HeltonToolandHome. This was one of those purchases through Amazon that was NOT shipped by Amazon and came instead directly from the vendor. I’m usually wary of these transactions as my past experience hasn’t always been good, but HeltonToolandHome were excellent and I’ll be pleased to buy from them again through Amazon.

Great Addition to Bosch Router
This is easy to install and also works with the dust collector attachments. I liked the fact that I could use my existing guide bushings using the adapter that is comes with this product. I'm pleased.

This adapter is the answer for the ability to use the porter cable threaded dovetail guides. Perfect fit on the Bosch 1617 EVS. Spot on for the money.

Makes life easier
Man. I got one and ended up buying 2 more for anything I could put my full sized router in. Using templates becomes so easy. The fit of it is flawless, and the quality is truly top notch. I think it will last as long as the router and then some. You can't go wrong.

Exactly the part I needed
I got the Rockler signmaking kit and the Bosch Colt plunge router. This is the adapter I needed to make those two tools work together. The signs turned out great!

Maybe a good idea. Poorly executed.
This is an update. I initially gave it one star. I have a Bosch router and decided to do some dovetails. Found out I needed to buy this thing or a new router base to make standard guides fit. So I bought a couple of these. It has a lever that is supposed to allow quick changes, but instead it binds against the router base and won’t budge. I thought of beating on it with a hammer but decided against it. Then on my second guide I did beat on it with a hammer and it works much better now. The latch will now open but only closes a little over half way before it binds, but it is usable.I have a smaller dewalt router and changing guides is a snap. Screw it in and you’re done. Why does Bosch give you a non-standard base and then ask you to complicate things with this weird thing. A new router base is on my list.
