I am impressed with these underwear. I have a heavy flow for three days straight and I thought that leaks were just always going to be part of my life. These underwear have stopped that! I use them with reusable cloth pads (which are more absorbent than store-bought disposables) and my only complaint is that sometimes my period leaks over the side of the pad from the flap that sticks out, but that is probably more a problem of the pad than the underwear, and even then it never leaks to my pants or skirt! Sleeping with these underwear on makes me feel so much more confident and comfortable knowing that no matter what position I sleep in, I'm not going to leak onto my sheets. Worth every penny for that alone!*The one thing I would want anyone considering purchasing these to know is that because they prevent leakage, they don't breathe which can lead to a yeast infection. You need to make sure you switch out types of underwear during your period or only wear them for the days you really need them. I never got a full-blown infection but I notice a buildup of yeast every time I wear them.They also make a little noise when you walk, so that may or may not bother you (it doesn't generally bother me). Also, the elephant decals don't stay whole. They began coming off almost right away after washing--but it's period underwear so who is going to see it anyway?

Wasn't happy with carrying plastic bags and extra underwear everywhere. Instead of changing a simple pad, you have to drop your pants, change the underwear and then carry them around in your purse all day. Gross!

I have been thinking about purchasing this type of underwear for a while but for every good review of other brands, I seemed to find 10 bad reviews, and they are so expensive! I decided to try these based on reviews and price. I wasn't sure what to expect but I love these so much I actually bought a second box. First, I used the Amazon size guide and it was perfect. I'm 5'8, 140lb and medium fit perfectly. They are so soft and comfortable, they genuinely feel like regular underwear. I didn't find any noise issues like other reviewers mentioned. These are recommended as back ups, and I do normally also use a cup, but I had a day off work so decided to try these out on their own. They worked so well, I ended up wearing them on a night out to the cinema. There was no uncomfortable feeling and no odour of any kind. I have previously used cotton pads as back up and have always been satisfied, though they were slightly more uncomfortable and bulky. I can't see myself going back to pads now. I would recommend these without hesitation for back ups on heavier days, and on their own on lighter days. The only negative thing is that I wish these had been available years ago!

Fit was a little small. Based on other reviews I got large instead of my usual medium. I wear 8-10 in pants. They fit pretty well. Maybe a little big, but not enough to think mediums would fit.Now for the good stuff. These work SO well! One day I bled through a tampon so bad that I thought I would have to go home from work. Turned these over and NOTHING had bled through. I was shocked! Potentially the worst accident of my life so far, and these babies saved me. On a light day you could even opt to just wear these.It's good to know that there are two layers of fabric, so they aren't the kind of thing you easily hide under leggings. They also sometimes make a subtle rustling when you walk, but I can't imagine anyone hearing it. Also, not the best during workouts where you'll get really sweaty. Gets a little like wet bathing suit bottoms. Even with these things I still give 5 stars and will definitely buy more.

I've been researching in the period panty market for a long time, and since a single pair start around $20 and only go up from there, I turned to Amazon. I found NatraTouch's three pack of period panties for $30 and thought it was a steal. Well, not only did my package arrive late, but the grey pair had two rips in the side before I even washed and used them. I contacted NatraTouch right away and they were very kind and sent me a replacement pair. But as for the product; I recommend staying away if you have a regular period. These are only for spotting, because that's all that they can hold. Usually on the first day of my period I can get away with wearing these but the only other time I can wear them is on my last day of my period. Pads do not stick to the underwear, and I only feel comfortable wearing the grey pair because I can actually see if I bleed through before I make a mess. The seams are not leak proof- you'll bleed through there first and rather quickly. Also I always soak and treat my period panties as instructed and I had to throw away a pair since the blood never never fully came out and the gusset became stiff and crusty. You should only wear these if you're: A) Spotting B) If you think your cycle is about to start up again (protection without having to wear a pad or tampon all day for nothing) C) Haven't gotten your first period yet.If you're looking for real deal- long lasting period panties, save up your money and buy from a brand like Thinx or Modibodi, or do your own research to find a brand that best fits your needs.

As with almost every period panty I have tried, it works well for light days or as a pad/panty liner alternative back-up to tampons. However, I wouldn't use any of them (these included) on their own, on a heavy day. However, I liked the material of this panty better than the others I have tried. (I have never tried the expensive brand I have seen online advertisements for, though, only other afforadable brands.) I wish they made these exact same underwear without the childlike like character on the front, but oh, well, it is not that big of a deal.

This takes the worry out of getting to the bathroom in time for change. And takes worry out of leaks. Sometimes period is heavier and you can't get to the bathroom until after class to change your pad. This product prevents the seepage onto pants and prevents embarrassment. I wear these during my period with pads. It's just an extra just in case precaution. You can't wear these instead of pads or tampon. They're great.

I was looking into sustainability and found out:1) Local council is having a 12 month trial where I can get a once-off subsidy for reusable sanitary products including leak-proof underwear2) Noted how damaging disposable sanitary products are not just to the environment but human's health/skin3) This product reduce landfill due to disposable sanitary products if it last for more than 2 years. Price wise it's too expensive and I wouldn't buy it if not because of the subsidy - might find cheaper sellers/brands.4) This helps with leakage so additional safety precaution and I didn't know about them till now! Dang5) I haven't investigate the material used, if it's organic cotton (impact to skin), and if it is recyclable.6) Love the kittens - so cute!
